I have a Malinois mix, their noses are the best in the biz.
However, the old Chief was an anti-gun (blank) and would (allegedly) delay renewal and new applications for that STOO-PID™ FOID Card we need to even touch a firearm or cartridge in Il.
But the new Chief stopped that nonsense and FOID Cards go out faster than the 30 days allowed. IIRC I got my last renewed card in about two weeks. And now they're good for ten years. That change was super.
