FULL TITLE: Schultz Admits Editing Perry Without Apologizing for Falsely Accusing Him of Making Racist Remark About Obama
As NewsBustersreported hours ago, MSNBC's Ed Schultz on Monday deceptively edited comments made by Rick Perry to falsely accuse the Texas governor of making a racist remark about President Obama.
"The Ed Show" host admitted his mistake on Tuesday's program, but failed to apologize to Perry or even acknowledge his despicable accusation let alone retract it (video follows courtesy Breitbart TV with partial transcript and commentary, file photo):

A$$hats are pulling out all the stops.
Things are getting so vicious here with these libs that America has never been closer to a revolution except for 1776 and 1860.
They are totally disreputable and devoid of any human decency.
Let’s change his name to Ed Schitz. More appropriate. For a guy who had some promise as a moderate leftist, he had gone off the deep end to the point that he is as crazy as Chris Matthews, Lawrence O’Donnell, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann or the recently fired Skank Cenk.
Where does MSNBC go to hire their hosts, “Nuts R Us”?
Fishy@whitehouse.gov.
That should send shutters down every freedom-loving American. And it's hard to believe more people inside and outside government, media, and the private sector did not call these goons on it.
This clown needs to join Dan Rather.
Possibly 1840 too.
“Schultz: We should not have included it in our coverage of his overheated rhetoric.”
What a snarky schmuck. That’s like saying, “I’m sorry we failed to report that you have, in fact, stopped beating your wife”.
The author seems astounded at all this. He goes on to ask “What kind of a “news” organization is this?”
The kind whose ratings are below sea level, for good reason.
“The folks at Comcast, General Electric, NBC, and MSNBC should be ashamed of themselves for not requiring their employee to issue a complete retraction for his error along with an apology to the person that was wrongly defamed.”
Look at the players - and he expects ethics or scruples??
“Anything less compounds the insult and the injury.”
That’s their stock in trade (where The Wan’s detractors are concerned).
“If this is what Americans can expect from MSNBC during the upcoming campaign, maybe there should be a disclaimer running at the bottom of the screen 24/7 informing viewers that the information being presented might be erroneous”
MIGHT be erroneous??? If MSNBC devotees would ever check out other news sources that just might be conservative, there’d be no need for a disclaimer or BS alert. (Although it might be helpful to casual channel surfers :-)
“but those involved really don’t care because they’re all in the tank for the current White House resident.”
A little slow on the uptake, but now you’re getting it, Noel. Now you’re getting it.
I hope EVERY candidate is watching closely. Obama will run on the race card.
They are totally disreputable and devoid of any human decency.
Indeed they are. And they're too rock-stupid to realize that their handlers are using them to try to trigger an open rebellion, so as to be able to declare a lockdown.
What do they have left???? They’re blowing all their ammo in ‘11. They’ll have to come up with something way new to pull during the real election. This is a preview but it’s a dud. The smart ones are abandoning ship. This will go down in flames..
The lies and deception is so in-your-face blatant - at least Pravda attempted a little subtly.
Schultz has long been a Stalinoid buttwipe..
Make the business "pay" what you think they can spare and you make the job seeker pay what they can not spare.
...but unlike the Hogans Hero version...this Sgt Schultz thinks he knows it all.
How did MSNBC let CNN steal Al Sharpton from right under their noses?
Heads must have rolled at MSNBC after that loss.
Sure it was a mistake.
Schultzie is just that type of guy, that makes you dream of going to prison with your head held high.
