Should politicians that pass laws that drive businesses overseas also be considered unpatriotic?

Using that logic, Georgie Porgie, anyone who buys a campaign bus from, say, Canada, instead of from a US company is unpatriotic, too, no?

The ABC host, who has repeatedly lobbied for higher taxes throughout his journalistic career, endorsed Warren Buffett's call for the rich to pay a higher percentage in taxes.

Warren could, if he wished, choose to not pay exhorbitant sums to his accountants to save every tax penny possible, and use the savings to pay at a much higher rate.

Warren could, if he chose to, simply write a check to donate to the "debt reduction fund" to assuage his outraged conscience.

You can bet that Warren would still hire an army of lobbyists to fight for every loophole possible to benefit him, while discomfitting his competitors, in any new "tax the rich" bills written.

And, finally, you can bet that Warren would offset any increases in his tax burden (decreases in his bottom line) by passing them on to his paying customers.

You can also safely bet that Georgie knows this very well, but would never "report" it.

George Stephanopoulos worked in the Clinton White House, which makes him unpatriotic.

This could be a pretext to nationalize some more companies “to save American jobs”.

“democrats have forgotten that.”

I have arrived to the conclusion that many Democrats have NOT forgotten that, but are in fact causing an unstable environment to destabilize companies and thus the economy. They envision rebuilding a socialist utopia on top the rubble of a failed country. As Rick Perry might say, it is treason.
