"don't always believe what you hear"
I think that applied to the Obozo too.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Farmer should have said: Don’t worry Obammie. I NEVER believe what I hear from you.
The fact is, under the Obama administration, the DOT is planning to call for Farmers who operate major farm equipment (trucks, tractors, large harvesters, etc.) to have to get a Commercial License (CDL) in order to operate the machinery on their own property and then fill out all the logs and adhere to all of the schedules like a commercial truck driver or face fines and loss of license.
it will kill the small farmers all over America...and they will have a fight on their hands should they actually try and implement such a travesty.
Obama added that, "Nobody is more interested in seeing our agricultural sector successful than I am, partly because I come from a farm state."gawd, who writes these lines, Dick van Dyke?
Obama can talk all he wants but at the end of the day it is Obama who has increased government regulations whereever he can.
To: Texas Fossil
The man stated that people would rather be farming than "filling out forms and permits to do what we like to do." President Obama told the farmer "don't always believe what you hear" and blamed Washington for ginning up speculation. Obama added that, "Nobody is more interested in seeing our agricultural sector successful than I am, partly because I come from a farm state."It is not "believing what you hear" that is the problem. Farmers right now today are overburdened with paperwork filling out forms and permits; that is, the problem is over regulation for farmers. Our President is really out of touch; his BIG government is the problem.
Old joke: A guy at the Department of Agriculture is going past a cubicle and he sees one of his colleagues sitting at his desk, crying. He wonders what is wrong and stops to ask his colleague what has happened. The guy looks up and, through his tears, says: My farmer died.
What a effing jerk! The farmer isn't just "hearing" about new regulations-- he has to deal with them.
Maybe Obozo would understand if he ever ran a lemonade stand--if, of course, he could get the permits to do so...
