Is the APA going to fold on the issue like they did in 1973 over homosexuality? In this case, it may not be activists violently threatening a convention. If some of you recall, there was a few years ago an academic from the University of Minnesota who published that children who were not exposed to sex at an early age were deprived. So this assault will come from ivory tower academics.
Garbage like this reminds me of when certain psychologists were publicly proclaiming that raising children in a two parent household (a mother and a father, not two mommies) constituted child abuse. Thank God that idea had not gained traction - yet.

Let's see if I have this right - If something is so wrong that it makes average people recoil in horror and pass laws to punish someone who commits those acts, then the APA says that it is within the range of normal behavior. OTOH, maybe it is in the range of normal behavior for a member of the APA.
