they will declare wars I expect war will be the answer. Middle east. Control of oil. The west will try to gain control of the oil supply in order to deal with China and emerging economies kicking our asses.

Gold is pretty worthless without a security structure. They used to carve (or chisel) dubloons into quarters and pieces of eight for smaller purchases.

The author suggest opening a bank account in Hong Kong. A very good idea.
Let me take it a step further. Hold your nose and open it with one of the large, state-run Chinese Banks Hong Kong Branches - Bank of China, ICBC, etc...
The advantages are: HK is separate legal entity, so they can do things in the free market of HK that they can not do in China. They are also backed by the Chinese Gov’t and their hoards of money. Finally - if the US Treasury or IRS comes calling, the Chinese Banks will tell Big Brother to go stuff themselves.
