WikiLeaks: Guantanamo detainee is now Libyan rebel leader (Obama just gave Libya to Al Qaeda)
the telegraph ^ | 4/26/2011 | Holly Watt

In a newly disclosed file by WikiLeaks that was written in 2005, Abu Sufian Ibrahim Ahmed Hamuda Bin Qumu was identified as a “probable member of Al Qaida and a member of the African Extremist Network”.

The revelation will raise concerns about the range of factions fighting Gadaffi in Libya, some of whom have been associated with Al Qaeda.

Qumu was previously a member of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, but allegedly left the proscribed group in 1998 to join the Taliban.

In the report, US investigators classified Qumu as a “medium to high” risk because he was “likely to pose a threat to the US, its interests and allies”.

Qumu was imprisoned in Libya for ten years for alleged “murder, physical assault, armed assault and distributing narcotics”, but escaped in 1993 and fled to Afghanistan.

We must also remember that when Bushwas President, the attacks from the Democrats on Guantanomo were at their height. He was pressured from the word go.

Now the thing about Bush is that he succombed to that pressure, He passed the first stimulus under pressure and he did not use Guantanomo as he should have. Much like his daddy succombed to his Read my lips no new tax’s,

They both folded up like a cheap suit and it destroyed both their legacy’s.

It’s the “Arab Spring,” and Obama is happy to see Al Qaeda bustin’ out all over.

Al Qaeda was supported by the types like Libya, so, this is the irony of it. We have been infiltrated through the Democratic party.

This is Karma upon karma, so to speak. Karma on Gadaffi and Karma on liberal sectors of America.

The Soviet base of governance has been within our Nation for a longer time, at least from the time of Wilson and the influx of European people into our Nation’s financial structure. Recall that the communist takeover of Russia had financial support from other places in Europe.

Actually this camelhumper has probably been rehabilitated. We use “art therapy.” Very successful I’ve heard. Finger painting you know. It’s the Arab Spring. I’ve heard that these new Libyan leaders are actually Jeffersonian democrats. They will insure that all children have an unlimited supply of lollypops. They have a program to save the whales. They have invited Lady Gaga to lead their gay pride parade. If it doesn’t turn out this way it will certainly be UNEXPECTED! Of course I am being facetious. However, has anyone noticed that people celebrating the Arab Spring have an emotional attachment to their belief that resists reality. It is something like Obamaphilia. All tingle up the leg.

It says that this guy was turned over to Libya in 2007....Yes, but maybe with the hope Khadaffy would foresee the future and cut his gonads off, which we couldn’t do?

Qumu was sent back to Libya in 2007 and released from prison in 2008 under an amnesty.

So Bush released him?

Are we noticing a pattern here people?

Imperialism transcends political parties and is good at utilizing any methods or tools at hand? Those "rebels" didn't overthrow Gadaffi.

U.S. and NATO assets overthrew Libya. We all know why.

You didn't mention that it was our own CIA which put Saddam in power and that he fought a proxy war with Iran that killed several hundred thousand Iragi's. We funded that war too. We don't seem to have much left to us to export anymore. We don't manufacture much anymore. But we do war better than anyone else. It's our biggest export.

“I could be wrong.”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

You are absolutely wrong...you are wrong in thinking that you might be wrong in thinking that Obama is NOT an American patriot! He is anything BUT an American patriot, he is an enemy of America, two years ago most would have said you must be crazy to believe that, now most people I know would say that you would be crazy NOT to believe that. Only the willfully blind still believe that Obama wishes anything good for this country.

Regardless of how many Freepers call him a nut or worse Alan Keyes had it right about what Obama is back in February of 2009. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DlTgrMCxPg

I guess Zero has officially surrendered in the WOT and is helping give AQ these nations as some sort of tribute?

No, Bush sent him back to Libya and Qadaffi released him.

Not trying to start an argument - I seriously want to know . . .

Were we expecting Qadaffi to actually help us out, and keep him in prison?

Seems more likely to me that sending him back to Libya was going to result in his release.

If I'm wrong, please tell me so.

Since Al Ciada is an American ally, will Al Ciada's banner fly over 9/11 memorial?

Will all brave Americans who died in Afghanistan and Iraq be considered traitors?

I was being sarcastic....he’s anything but a US citizen and everything he has done is illegal....every document that has his signature on it should be void and thrown out....I can’t believe the US is in the current state of chaos...I hold the press and media responsible and those that have allowed people who have made a career on entitlements to vote this idiot and traitor into office....

...does the above sound much better and to the point...?

I posted this to another as well -— might want to check out my website — you’ll see that is exactly what I’m doing - trying to warn others of the threat!

Nobody.

Mark Levin has been cheerleading for the Al Qaeda terrorists since day one.

It's infuriating that people like him are still saying it's OK that Obama can help terrorists.

1998 : (LIBYA : LIBYAN ISLAMIC FIGHTING GROUP ATTEMPTS TO ASSASSINATE KADHAFI; HE ISSUES AN ARREST WARRANT FOR OSAMA BIN LADEN)

Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghrib , AQIM, was opposed to Qadaffi. The feeling was mutual... It is true Qadaffi was a supporter of FARC against the US. He was also a supporter of the PFLP at various times, and Abu Nidal Organization [as was Saddam Hussein, to whose country ANO moved in 1999 when Qadhaffi's supposedly moderate son Seif made an agreement with the UK -and probably our State Dept- to lift sanctions on Libya if Libya rejected terrorism and fessed up to the Pan Am bombing], but Qaddaffi doesn't appear to have any fondness for or need for AQ .
