I’ve always respected your opinion.

It is an honor to have earned that respect.

What’s your solution?

There's a long answer to that, because to be credible would take a number of examples of the general principles as applied to the various aspects of the problem: educational, social, legal, psychological, economic, environmental, and civil defense. Yet all that does boil down to a very few simple ideas. Each case will require a different pitch, yet each pitch must be entirely a subset of those central principles.

I do think I've comprehended it, and I think there's enough fear out there, even within the functional bits and pieces among the mass of bureaucracy, to get their attention. I doubt either the bulk of the academe or the political class is savable. Whether the plan can be executed in time is of course problematic to say the least, but at least I have most of the pieces for one, albeit the sequence of steps is not well developed. I simply got started opportunistically upon what was both closest to hand and the deepest underlying justification infesting the leftist id.

Nevertheless, it must be done because "letting the State sink" would be catastrophic, perhaps for the entire world. Even if not, California's problems are emblematic of the nation by degree; hence one need only wait for things to degenerate further for the above to be true. This disastrous mentality infests even the most conservative states because the hierarchy is defined by credentials, and we all know who controls those.

Thinking it not wise to advertise the way the various examples stitch together just yet, I think this a matter best communicated in conversation, particularly because some extensive historical context may be necessary. If you want, freepmail me with a phone number and email addy and we'll set up a phone meeting go over the various elemental, strategic, and tactical elements. I could use a good conversation to help me organize it all.

In any case and in my opinion, we must do something along these lines or we will surely lose eventually. Of that I have little doubt.

Heck yeah!

I spent about 2.5 years in Texas and I learned one thing about Texans: They will argue to the grave even when they know they are wrong!

I am bringing my bad self, my beautiful (and frugal) wife, my Conservative values, my 6 figure income and my positive attitude to Texas. A match made in heaven and I just keep asking myself “why did I wait so long?”

Longneckers and intense but friendly arguments at a bar together sounds like a great plan!

>>Welcome! You weren’t born here, but you got here as fast as you could....<<

Revelation comes to each on his/her own timeline.

Thanks! The only issue that worries me is when they use that staple gun to staple the legally required “Dallas Cowboys #1” giant foam finger to my forehead...

>>welcome to Irving!<<

Based on everything I have read over the last umpteen years, TX Freepers are the first group I would trust with to meet in RL and trust with my RL data.

No offense to other FReepers — we are a large community and dang near every FReeper can be trusted. But dang near doesn’t=100%. There a handfule of FReepers I have shared my RL info with. And I am the most paranoid Internet denizen on the planet.

But there has always been a sort of “trolls don’t last long here” vibe for TX that has always impressed me (and no, this isn’t just sucking up to my fellow Texans — you cynics!)

Lady TX FReepers: Bad/good news: I am as attractive as my posts and I am happily married.

LOL. Man, you got that right.

Looks like you're gonna be pulling in right at the tail end of the heat wave. Just in time for fall. Good timing.

First beer's on me!

Yes it is.

2,160,000 government employees in just one state, not including the tens of thousands who work for the Fed in CA.

The private sector is being gang raped by this obese, all controlling government, which has now been totally infiltrated by leftist, homos, corrupt unions, Communist, and the well dressed criminally corrupt.
