The uncle of President Obama arrested here last week on drunken driving and other charges has been a fugitive from deportation since 1992, according to two federal law enforcement officials with knowledge of the case.
Onyango Obama, who is from Kenya and is known as the president's Uncle Omar on his father's side, had lived a quiet life in Massachusetts until last Wednesday, when police said the car he was driving darted in front of a police cruiser, nearly causing the officer to hit his car.
The federal officials, who spoke about Obama's immigration status on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak about the case, said Obama had been told to leave in 1992, but he did not go.
Obama is the second relative of the president to have defied a deportation order, reigniting debate over illegal immigration and raising questions about how a man who had lived in the United States illegally for years had managed to secure a job, a Massachusetts driver's license, and apparently, a federal Social Security number, without being detected by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.

Shouldn’t be a problem for Holder’s JustUs Department. Fugitive status certainly didn’t stop him from recommending a presidential pardon for Marc Rich.
He’ll be okay, then. Just so long as he is not a criminal or a law-breaker, then he can stay.
If Obama’s so concerned about illegals, why doesn’t he just sign an Executive order granting them all U.S. citizenship and be done with it? 20 million new citizens, most of whom will vote Democrat. He must think the Americans he holds in such contempt might actually stand up and protest if he did something that extreme. He prefers the incremental approach, as demonstrated by his executive order last week to reduce deportations.
I don't think this is what really happened.
I think obama drove in front of a police officer who narrowly averted a crash.

Jeepers. How come Uncle Omar was asked down to the Vineyard last week? He sounds like a laugh riot.
A little boy is in the post office. He sees photos of people on the wall and asks the man behind the counter:
“Hey mister. Who are those people?”
And the post master replied, “Those are bad people. They are fugitives wanted for crimes they committed.”
The boy thought for a while and then said, “I wonder why they didn’t just keep them after they took their pictures.”

Zero can’t even take care of his Uncle and Auuuntie, so what do the welfare class expect from him. He has millions in his own personnal STASH and relatives can go to HELL. Hypocrite.
Funny you don’t hear much about Obama’s family. The press kept up with the antics of Billy Carter and Roger Clinton, we heard all about Reagan’s kids but hardly a word about the Obamanation’s family.
