EXCERPT

In agreeing to Boehner's schedule, Obama's address will compete with the opening game of the National Football League season — a conflict the White House wanted to avoid.

Bah, let him gloat; it’s a wonderful thing to make this sad sack excuse of a president for once eat crow and be put in his place. All in front of the world no less.

Why can’t he give his totally meaningless jobs speech on a night where there is no debate and no football? How freaking stupid are those jerks? I thought they were clever commies choreographing every move they made. Maybe they are just fools and dimwits after all.

No, this is a massive loss of ‘face.’ He has just been ordered by a subordinate government official to move his speech for the convenience of a rival political party. This is supposed to be the most powerful man, in the most powerful country in the world; he has just followed orders from a SUBORDINATE political official. The entire world will hear about this and know about it. After this he will be lucky to be able to look other international officials in the face.

On all of the threads about this issue I haven’t seen the one thing we should’ve come to expect from this clown.
Why would he agree to go up against/or near the opening NFL game? I’m just guessing here but I think it’s because he’s going to propose, or more likely, try to impose, some sort of humongous program that he hasn’t trial ballooned.
Lately, it’s been more teachers, construction workers moved to infrastructure, foreclosures rented by the govt. He’s about to go Chavez/FDR on us right in front of the House and Senate.

I think Obama is losing it, his grip, his magic touch, and his formerly impeccable sense of timing. Just look at hte mess his life is becoming and all of it started on such an orgasmic note (if you’ll please forgive the vulgarity) and he’s degenerating now that there’s no one to prop him up.He can’t just walk away and there is no one but him to get himself out of this mess.

“I thought they were clever commies choreographing every move they made”

They’ve been able to choreograph everything but the results of their actions. They can’t order the economy to improve and they can’t just choreograph a successful business development. Obama is clueless of the concept of ‘process’ and that is the crucial part of his administration’s failure to get the ocuntry back on track. He is too used to things simply appearing on a silver platter and then things happening. In the Presidency, it isn’t as easy, which is why teh most successful presidents have been those with a solid business background.

Odinglebarry always does this crap every time. He announces a far out shockingly radical plan, then backs off. The publication of the Abu Grahib photos. The trial of KSM in NYC. The closing of gitmo. Many, many more instances. It’s called Chaos. It’s an Alinsky principle. It’s his style.

**nice analysis & I think you’re onto something..I recall seeing a few recent articles about the left urging O to go big & bold in his newest fantasyland jobs speech. I can see him proposing something outrageous that he knows GOP will shoot down..& his media enablers will cover for him & direct the narrative. GOP better be ready to hit back with a one-two punch.

I gave Boehner a lot of grief here...but He now has all my respect!

I did as well, and like you I now give him all due respect. He is Mr. Speaker now.

Indeed, you’re right, but nbc has the contract that must be honored.
Too bad for BHO.

I am not a football fan...but maybe I will become one! :-)

Maybe now that Boehner has had a wee taste of victory, he might start ACTING like a Winner!

Looks like Obama may get retired along with the Burger King.

Heard a Washington Times reporter on radio today say (before the change) that the original schedule was Team Obama playing “hardball.”

He said the WH is becoming concerned with his polling and the rise of Perry, and this debate is to be Perry’s national debut, so they wanted to abort, as it were, his debut.

He also said top Dems are getting worried about BHO not only losing but bringing the party down with him ... the Dems losing the Senate, even more House seats and thus the SCOTUS.

And, he said, the Dems may throw Obama under the bus and recruit Hillary who they think would have at least a 50-50 chance.

Someone at AP just lost their job over that headline. His Heinous doesn’t take kindly to his minions telling the truth about him.
