President Obama’s new “We The People” initiative smells exactly like a political campaign move and is unethical, says one large grassroots conservative group spokesman. FreedomWorks spokesman Adam Brandon said it appears the White House is using taxpayer-funded government resources to play political games.
Brandon told The Daily Caller that FreedomWorks is looking into the legality of the new program. “The White House [should be] about policy, not politics,” Brandon said in a telephone interview. “This is a political move.”
The new Web campaign is a “direct reaction to the success of the tea party, the left and the Obama administration trying to catch up,” Brandon adds. “I don’t think it’s ethical.”

I would go so far as to suggest we should put some of the better conservative ideas into a petition, post it there, and then FReep those petitions to get them well over the 5,000 signature threshhold. It could be interesting.
I'd be willing to bet that conservative bloggers, FReepers, and other conservatives are more creative and can come up with better petitions and more signatures than the lefties.
Well,after he used two multi million dollar tax payer finance buses to get him to all points campaign necessary, what else does one expect? This guy plays by his own rules.
