True. In reality, he’s only 96.9% accurate.

"Even among the very liberal, 42 percent said he was helpful to America,"I call bs on this one. El Rushbo is considered to be satan incarnate by the whacky left.

Hmmm, so a significant number of liberal women doubt their keepers?
To: harpu
But haven't you heard, Bush is now a RINO and a part of the "establishment," because he has dared to defend Perry against scurrilous attacks, exactly as he has done for Palin. Worse than that, he has actually said he likes Perry and what he has done.
Clearly for some here on FR this is proof positive that he is working for the enemy and a hard-core leftist RINO and part of the Romney/Rove/Perry cabal out to destroy the nation. LOL!

El Rushbo is numero uno in my book. The MAN has taught me some valuable lessons over the years. I seldom miss his classes for fear of falling behind the conservative curve.

That's the same thing I hear from liberals. Sometimes they'll say they heard a quote from him on a liberal show...
Liberals aren't as the MSM portrays them - the media pushes their intellectual side - but in fact they take in very little information and form their opinions more on 'feelings', superstitions and groupthink...

"When one listens carefully, he claims something such as..."almost always right 99.xxx percent..."Thank God somebody has finally pointed this out! This is one of Rush's most brilliantly-played tweaks, because he knows that it will be widely misinterpreted. I love it when libs tear their hair out over this...
As to the article topic, how can a poll be 'scientific' when it asks people who do not listen to him to assess his effectiveness & influence? Ridiculous!

Liberals aren't as the MSM portrays them - the media pushes their intellectual side - but in fact they take in very little information and form their opinions more on 'feelings', superstitions and groupthink... Someone once observed that the typical liberal's view of reality is more like that of a shaman or medieval peasant than like that of an educated person who is aware of the great ideas that undergird the modern world.
As the great Ronaldus Maximus once observed: "the problem isn't what he doesn't know; the problem is what he does know that's just not so."

I remember watching Rush's TV show! What a hoot. I was beginning to take a keen interest in politics at the time and The Professor was, and still is, a great teacher.
I have stated before that anyone who has a job in talk radio should wake up every morning, turn toward the direction of Palm Beach County, Florida and bow while saying three times, "We are not worthy".

It may be a tweak, but the Sullivan Group is in fact real and Tom Sullivan is its head. Tom has his own TV show on Fox Business Network from 7-8 and he is from Sacramento CA.

We feel the same way. He is a brilliant man of character and integrity. He knows his history and I could never have learned over the years sitting in a classroom what I have learned listening to him 3 hours per day. What he has done for this country will never be forgotten. He loves this country and its citizens. We love Rush. See my tagline.

That says more about you than him. Rush is a very smart guy. He knows when to step over poo while cracking a joke or two about the aroma.

Not to mention that Rush has a terrific sense of humor, something that nobody will ever say about the Obamas, Pelosis, and Reids of the world.

In their defense, the tri-axis of liberalism has a terrific sense of humor... at least, according to communists and others on the left! ;)

60% have never listened to him, yet their opinion is considered in a scientific survey. Right.
Read carefully. It doesn’t say “have never listened.”
I’m in this camp. I used to listen, but don’t,now, but still give Rush thumbs up.
Besides, one can read his books or transcripts without listening.
