Hornady has that ammo in +p, but those stats are muzzle velocity.

I had a titanium snubbie in 357 (15oz?) and it was brutal, which is why I told dad he might want to look at 38 spl +p.

I’ve got a Scandium S&W 360, it weighs 12 ounces.

It’s a hand smacker with just .38 Special. I can’t imagine what a .357 would feel like much less .38+P...

Your 1st entry is standard 38 spl and gives muzzle energy. Your 2nd is for their critical defense ammo, but they only list velocity. Wonder what gives.

Maybe a better question si how to convince old dad the 38 spl +p is good enough for defense. All his current sd guns are 357 or 45’s.
