Hi mylife, I’m having a research problem, specifically trying to find muzzle energy stats for 38 spl +p Corbon PowR Ball and Hornady Critical Defense ammo in the 125 grain size. Spear, Winchester, Double Tap, most others give this data on their sites.
Maybe somebody here can help.

I thought I still had a box for the PowRBall, but can’t find it. As for the Hornady, I’m looking at a box of 38 spcl 125gr, JHP/XTP. If that is the one, it shows muzzle=900fps, 50 yds=856, and 100 yds=817.

38 Special+P 110gr CrtDef
- Bullet Type: FTX
- Caliber: 38 Special +P

- Velocity (50 yards): 1116 fps
- Velocity (100 yards): 1014 fps
