Update, Jay Carney is on with O'Reilly right now and says they will submit a bill next week or something like that.

Mr. President, don't stand up in front of a joint session of Congress and tell them they must pass a bill when the bill doesn't yet exist.

In the Nancy Pelosi tradition, you will need to pass the bill to find out what’s in it. Based on the odor of tonight’s speech, I think we all know what’s in it.

No need.

” JUST PASS IT ! “

Repeat mantra over until all obey.

No committee hearings.

No floor debates.

No CBO scorings.

OBEY

DO AS I COMMAND

JUST PASS IT !

You know I thought Obama’s first 5 minutes were really effective. I thought we might be in for a long night. Then his inner college professor came out and started lecturing and gave us the laundry list. Literally within 10 minutes I was relieved, he is toast.

This should be broken into individual bills for each major piece... Pass the good parts (and there are a couple)... trash the rest.

Where's the bill, Mr. President?

Hey? Cut Prez Zero some slack! He was on vacation and didn't have time to address the small detail of joblessness. He will get around to it in a week or two. He said so in the little meeting that he had there tonight! Geez.....

Hey, I've got an idea.

How about, first, we have Reid take some of the jobs bills our new Congress has arealy passed - that Reid REFUSES to let be voted on.

They must have merit if Reid is afraid to bring them to a vote - afraid even dems would vote for them.

Why is NO ONE mentioned THESE bills.

They all let the CICINO push the lie that the new Congress has done nothing and the HE is the only one with any plan.

That’s why afl-cio was sitting in the box with Meeechelle, he is staying in the Lincoln bedroom this week, and will reveal the bill after he writes it, in a week or so.

Wow, you actually watched the speech. There is a deafing silence online it is like everyone panned it. He could have phoned this one in. He simply put out ideas he knows Congress will not go for so he can blame the Tea Party racist.

Pass the good parts (and there are a couple)...

Name one, and state how Obama said it'll be "paid for" without (a)raising taxes or (b)impacting the debt ceiling.

Go ahead, I'll wait ......

Boehner should announce he’ll put it up for a vote first thing tomorrow, assuming Zero submits it by then.

Yeah, I got the "Fact Sheet" right before the whitehouse.gov website crashed.

I especially liked this part:

From the White House fact sheet on the American Jobs Act:
Fully Paid for as Part of the President’s Long-Term Deficit Reduction Plan.
So, these proposals aren't paid for, but they will be when the "super committee" finds an additional ~ $450 Billion in spending cuts/revenue enhancements above and beyond their current goal.

Yeah, that will happen.

Boehner should announce that he'll put it up for a vote no sooner than 72 hours after the White House publishes the bill where We the People can read it. Not one hour sooner.
