"To even say something like "whether it was suicide or not doesn't matter" is idiocy."

Perhaps I should have stated it another way as to not offend your delicate sensibilities concerning the subject.

What I meant to say is the question of whether it was suicide or not should not even enter the discussion. Of course if you want to act the jackass over semantics, be my guest.

I was flipping around the news channels and CNN had interviews with people about 9/11 so I watched for a few minutes..till they interviewed that wacko Cindy Sheehan. Why Cindy Sheehan? She was not a survivor nor did she lose a family member in the attacks. No other mother of a fallen soldier, airman or marine in the subsequent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan was interviewed, just her. She blathered for a few minutes how her son Casey tried to refuse the order that ended in his death, which was a proven lie, and one that she only began spouting years after her son’s death. She then babbled on about how she knew 9/11 would change America..oh what a prescient genius. She sounded and looked like a goofy moron. God forgive me, I DESPISE CNN and all the leftist news media.

She looks like you already did. And I spit on CNN—sneaking in an American hating, 9/11 truther like Cindy Sheehan and presenting her as a credible commentator on 9/11 was insulting to the victims and their families. And frankly to anyone watching.

I’m glad to have made your morning! Keep me in mind on your ping lists. I have a feeling we are very similar in sentiment.

Personally, I’d like to spend the weekend watching breaking news stories about mushroom clouds spotted over Mecca, Riyad, Peshawar, Kabul, Tehran, Cairo, Tripoli and any of the other Muslim stronghold cities.

We are going to end up in a global conflagration with Muslims at some point in the future anyway.

It’s so easy when writing emotionally to make a mistake or to be unclear. I’ve done it many times myself so I completely understand.

Sadly, I think those who jumped had terrible deaths. I remember Guiliani’s statement that he saw the air turn pink. They have never shown the photos of the body parts shattered on the streets of Manhattan. The writer Pete Hamill who was on Vesey Street at the time saw shoes surrounded by pools of blood.

I’m not writing this to be cruel - please understand. I just want everyone to know what those animals did to our fellow citizens.

Never forget, never forgive.

I hear ya. Maybe it's me, but there's something a little masochistic about our focus on the victims, and on that day, and remembering the tragedy.

I know, we all want to respect and honor the dead. But I think it'd be better if on September 11 we celebrated everything we've accomplished against our enemies since that day.

It would have been nice if we could have had the new building done in ten years, too, when it took one year to build the Empire State Building.

There's just something about everyone blubbering and crying that rubs me wrong. I refuse to wallow in it.

Frankly, had the local will (I believe the National will was there) been there, both towers could have been replaced in much less time. I believe too much credence and liberal victim deference was attached to the whole 'rebuilding' effort and it delayed, delayed, delayed - all due to bickering amongst themselves and with government.

The victims here were not just surviving families, who by the way were extravagantly compensated unlike any disaster victims heretofore, but these entire United States. We, the air traveler, the bus traveler and any other public participant are subjected to the vestiges of this terrorist act. The victims do not have the franchise on bereavement - we (collectively) are suffering, too. DHS, TSA have determined WE are the enemy and we are paying for it with our freedom.

So, in summation, I don't want to pray, I don't want to reflect on how America caused this, and I don't want heap further commiseration on the victims' families. I WANNA NUKE SOMEBODY....

My only problem with todays remembrance is that there is not enough anger and revenge being shown. Yea , that’s right I said it . I’d love to see someone get up there and say the Islamic scumbags are still in this country and they need to be warned. Never happen I guess. I saw the attack live in front of me from a rooftop right across the river . I KNOW how it felt to watch all those people die
AND I KNOW WHO DID IT TOO..THAT IS WHAT I WONT FORGET !

"To the Brits I would say kudos, but it isn’t the Americans who have forgotten, it is the leadership and media."

Exactly. We had (expletive deleted) BASTARDS in positions of leadership and critical decision making who put procedures into place that caused the failures that led to 9/11. And now, once again, we have (double triple raging expletive deleted) BASTARDS in power again who have the same mindset as those who were responsible for 9/11.

And I'm not even going to describe my feelings for the voters who PUT THESE BASTARDS in power!

I had a dream last night.

In the dream I was sleeping. Everything including me was dark.
There was a man standing in a window above me. I couldn't see who it was, and there was very bright light shining behind him.
He gave me a rose.

"The Christian West will have to resort to violence, even barbarity, that eclipses almost anything humanity has ever known."

Obama and the water carrying boot licking butt boys in the MSM will do all they can to make sure that people will not be appointed as military leaders who will do as you have posted.

"But could Christianity — the tolerant creed that “turns the other cheek” in an effort to “forgive our enemies” — also become the force that stays our hand and causes the loss of that very civilization?"

Sadly, yes.

"Immediately before He left us, he demanded that those who followed him arm themselves - not for revenge, marauding or banditry, but to defend themselves against those who would harm them."

Jesus would have been a poor messiah indeed had his attitude been that he was here to spread the news of salvation to all the Earth, but if his followers were murdered before they got a chance to help spread that news, well that would have been ok since they didn't engage in violence. I mean think about it, if his followers would not defend themselves against evil, then how could they have spread his teachings? And if they could not have spread his teachings, they would have failed HIM, and they would have failed those who could have learned his message!

CHRISTIANS need not back down from murderers nor do they need to apologize if they use violence to obliterate and annihilate them!
