He is slurring. New teeth work? or something more sinister?

The placement of the names of the heroes on the wall seems a little weird to me.

First and middle names separated from last name. I don’t get it.

Actually, so far he’s not bad. He thanked Clinton for his service, and praised Pres. Bush for holding the country together through this horrific attack. (Clinton got applause; Pres. Bush got longer applause and cheers.) Now he’s talking about the courage of the families, and honoring those who sacrificed themselves to save others.

Very wise words, Ohio! He STILL has a look of peace on his face...probably more so now that he’s enjoying his retirement. :-) I hope they are both enjoying it.

“biden on, tv off! I’ll just read comments from those hearty enough to listen.”

Beautiful words for W!

It is no accident, nor coincidence that a man of prayer, faith and obedience was President during this dark time in our history.

Agreed. There is an angel in the whirlwind....

I will always remember January 20, 2001

Had I designed it, there would have been a relief of the hero and a plaque underneath-With “Lets Roll” and their names.

I agree—it’s kind of weird. I hope the families had some say in it so it memorializes their loved ones in a way that gives them some comfort.

No kidding. No better than the cheapest gravestone and less elaborate. Not worthy of those who fought the good fight.

Such a handsome guy, and Laura is so lovely! Beautiful couple!

I have been thinking about a few things and listening to these speeches has made it more clear today...

The one thing, the one thing that the terrorists underestimate is ....

the heart that resides in every American.

Nothing sinister...just yet another politician that drinks too much and thinks too little.

Who's bright idea was it to invite the jackass who's inaction led to 9-11?

Yep, Biden is giving a good speech. Makes a reference to knowing what it’s like to get the worst possible news, out of the blue.
Very good speech.

I guarantee that they both are, homemom.

Think about the abuse they went through for eight years, and now we have a whining baby in the WH complaining that he's so maligned, when he's been coddled and has never had to endure the assault that President Bush did.

I'm sure that both he and Laura love being out of the spotlight, doing what they love doing and not getting bashed every day (well, except from Obama and a few angry freepers. ;*)

Yes, it is great to see them together!

I saw them earlier laying a wreath at the Pentagon, and they were holding hands, putting their arms around each other, etc. It was so nice to see that genuine, true love, their compassion for each other and for the people they were around...the limited times I accidently see Obama and Michele on TV it’s like they’re putting on an act the whole time.

President Bush and Laura are REAL people.

I miss them!
