Ten Septembers have come and gone since that awful morning. But on this 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we are summoned once more to honor those we lost by keeping our country strong and true to their memory.

Over the coming days, we will remember nearly 3,000 innocent victims — fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters who were simply going about their daily lives on a beautiful Tuesday morning. And we'll talk to our children about what happened on that day, and what's happened since.

Like every American, I'll never forget how I heard the terrible news, on the car radio on my way to work in Chicago. Yet like a lot of younger Americans, our daughters have no memory of that day....As they've grown, Michelle and I faced the same challenge as other parents in deciding how to talk with our children about 9/11.

One of the things we've told them is that the worst terrorist attack in American history also brought out the best in our country. Firefighters, police and first responders rushed into danger to save others. Americans came together in candlelight vigils, in our houses of worship and on the steps of the U.S. Capitol. Volunteers lined up to give blood and drove across the country to lend a hand. Schoolchildren donated their savings. Communities, faith groups and businesses collected food and clothing. We were united, as Americans.

On a day when others sought to destroy, we choose to build. Once again, Sept. 11 will be a National Day of Service and Remembrance, and at Serve.gov every American can make a commitment to honor the victims and heroes of 9/11 by serving our neighbors and communities. That's the America we can and must always be.

Obama cares nothing about unity. It was his Democrat party buds who started the “Bush lied, people died” mantra that broke the unity that WAS in place after 9/11. He didn’t speak out against the assaults, but joined in them, heartily.

I hate to say it but the statement was right:

first september: 2001, 2nd: 2002, 3rd: 2003...9th: 2009, 10th: 2010.

So, technically 10 Septembers have passed since 9/11

Hey Barky! Why don't you go reclaim your Muslim roots back in your “home Country” and take that hideous beast you call a wife, with you. Come to think of it, take the kids, too. They're undoubtedly ruined having grown up in your Marxist household with a mother who only became proud of her Country in 2009.

While I'm thinking about it, you can pack your return vessel full of your followers, too. Take all the “African-Americans” back with you. They can then drop the “ - American” off their identity since it was never prominent with them, before. Be sure and take the entire CBC with you. Maybe you can all form a “new government” together in Kenya.

The way I see it, if you do these things, you'll go down as the greatest President, ever! You'll have instantly enacted entitlement reform while making the largest personal sacrifice for the good of the Country. Let this be your legacy.

Yeah, for how long? a week? I thoroughly enjoyed the media’s meme all weekend as they discussed the memorials that their clearest memory was how unified this country was. Yes, I heard it as a subtle message that those who are standing against our current president are “unpatriotic” as we saw true unification during the most patriotic time of our lives.....

Yeah, that George Bush “chimpyfascisthitlerbigearsdummy” was really supported.....

Then these same folks would tearfully sing the National Anthem. Yeah, these leftist voters of NY and the east coast beltway that were featured in the “money shots” really believe it....let me recap their tearful moments:

“Land of the Free” (except for those that are against the 2,000 page legislation resulting in 6,000 pages of regulations that govern my physical being)

“Home of the Brave” (except when it comes to personal accountability to invest in our own retirement.)

Yes, these folks anger me. They can probably name the last 10 American Idol winners, but still have no idea of the “Dreams” that BHO has for this country, the “Dreams OF his Father.”

Willful ignorance pisses me off, no matter how cloaked it is in Patriotism.
