RUSH: You know who the happiest guy in America Thursday night probably was? Obama. And you know why? 'Cause he knew that I wasn't gonna be here on Friday to talk about that debacle of a stupid speech, but I'm here today. And now we've got a replay, pomp and circumstance in the Rose Garden this morning where Obama, little Barry had a bill, little Barry had a bill. (imitating Obama) "I've been reading, people say I don't have a bill. Well, here it is." There was applause. How about our budget next? How about a budget?

The pep rally this morning in the Rose Garden was so high school. The president has his props. He had a bill. He was proudly waving his little bill. Look at little Barry, got a bill, he's waving his little bill around, holding it up like it was his first term paper. And I kept saying, "Well, where's your budget next? How about a budget? How about a budget?" Too bad his parents weren't there to say, "Our Barack has a bill. Our Barack has a bill. We've never been so proud, our Barack has a bill." Everybody's been asking where the bill is. On Thursday night he said, "Pass this bill." Where is it?
Well, there is one now. We got a bill. He had to have those huge props behind him. I'll tell you, it's not working. He's coming off -- (interruption) well, I'm not gonna dispute whether it's a bill. You want me to speculate here that it might just be a bunch of paper, how do we know it's a bill? We saw a cover, we saw a stack of paper, we didn't actually see the bill. Well, we'll know soon enough whether or not it was a bill.
It could have been the instruction documents for covering up what happened to Solyndra and they could have just gotten it mixed up at the White House. Who knows. Oh, look, there's Solyndra on TV right now. At any rate, now is the time for the official rebuttal of Obama's job speech from the titular head of the Republican Party, that's me, and you will get it during the course of the program today. He still hasn't said how he's gonna pay for his jobs bill, and that won't happen for a couple more weeks. The fierce urgency, folks, the best way to describe this, the fierce urgency three weeks after the vacation speech -- (interruption) tax increases on the rich. Yeah. But did you also notice -- now, this is key as I weave my way back to Social Security. You may think this is all disjointed here, folks, but it's all setting up to unfold before your very eyes and ears the program today. Did you notice how he wants to reduce payroll taxes? Yeah. Okay, now, that's fine and dandy, except when you consider payroll taxes are the only funding source of Social Security. Payroll taxes, FICA, the only funding source for Social Security.
So tell me it's not a Ponzi scheme now when we can cut in half or whatever his payroll tax would be if it ends up being -- and I could see people signing onto it. Let's say it is a 50% cut in the payroll tax for a while, then tell me it's not a Ponzi scheme. The only funding mechanism is cut in half and yet the benefits are still gonna flow? Ha-ha! A lot of seasoned citizens are complaining haven't had a cost-of-living increase under Obama. If the payroll tax is cut... Now, see, if I'm a seasoned citizen, this is what I worry about, not these charges that Republicans are gonna kick me out of my house or they want to. If I hear there's gonna be a cut in the payroll tax, I say, "Wait a minute! That's how my program's funded. That is the only way my program's funded. We're gonna stimulate the economy that way?"
No, I'm not saying whether I'm for it or not yet, folks. I'm just putting all of this on the table. The American Jobs Bill. The Affordable Health Care for America Act. The America Recovery and Investment Act. Names to mislead, lies, deceit. I feel sorry for anything who follows this stuff, and the media, they lap this up like hungry cats and dogs, they just lap this up, whatever it is. These are job killing bills with names so fraudulent we ought to be able to bring lawsuits against the president anybody else connected to it. We can't, but if this went on in the private sector, it wouldn't be permitted.
They don't do what they promised, these bills, the American Jobs Act, the Affordable Health Care for America Act. Right. They don't do what they're advertised, kind of like Social Security.

RUSH: Grab audio sound bite 27 real quick. This is little Barry has a bill. This is little Barry walked out with a bill. You know, he lined all these people up, everybody in uniform. He had a cop in uniform, had a teacher in uniform, had a nurse in uniform. He had all these people who were gonna be benefited by the American Jobs Bill (or Jobs Act, whatever he's calling it). But he had these people standing out there in the hot sun for like five, maybe seven minutes before he strolls in from the shade with Plugs Biden. They walked in from some trees, what appeared to be just to the left of the podium area, and little Barry got up there and this is what he said.
OBAMA: On Thursday I told Congress that I'll be sending them a bill called the American Jobs Act. Well, here it is. This is... (pause)
AUDIENCE: (smattering of applause)
RUSH: He's applauded. He actually got applauded! Limited applause, it's a small group, but little Barry was applauded for having his bill. And like I say, we don't know that it was the bill. It was just said to be one.

He also wants the bill passed NOW but he’ll come out with how he plans to pay for it ......next week. He must think everyone but him is a fool.
Good Little Barry, now post it on the internet so that we can all see what’s in it.
i just see a notebook with a cover. care to bet it’s blank inside?
I’m hoping white comedian Paul Shanklin will do a parody of James Brown called “Papa got a brand new bill”.
Headline tells me all I need to know... http://news.yahoo.com/obama-hike-taxes-pay-jobs-bill-200510620.html
Unprecedented! Historic! pResident “I made a poo poo” has a bill... another first for this most “brilliant” of administrations.
You have to pass the bill, in order to find out what's in it.
part by his thumb “revised 3rd edition( 2008 campaign)” ?
If there is a bill ... I’ll bet it’s written in crayon
Reminds me of the first debate he had with McCain. McCain had told the story about the mother of a fallen soldier having given him a bracelet, and Obama immediately piped up and said: "I've got a bracelet too, from Sergeant ... from the mother of Sergeant Ryan David Jopek..." He couldn't even remember the name of the soldier, and had to look at the bracelet to recall the man's name. He's such a putz.
I thought bills that generate revenue (taxes) must originate from the house of Representatives. Why is the executive branch writing a bill that increase taxes ?
This bill is nothing more than funding for the democrap party via public employee unions.
Constitution? We don't need no stinkin Constitution.
BTW, you don't even have to read it to know it's classic Marxism.
The infrastructure and transportation re-investment and grants act, S.942 has been sitting in the Senate Transportation committee since May. It was submitted by Patty Murray, with the support of Dick Durbin and Susan Collins.
The bill is intended to fund multi-modal transportation projects, known as Gateways, in states across the country (except South Carolina and Wisconsin), particularly the Pacific Gateway Terminal in NW Washington that is being built by SSA. You might have read about SSA in the news recently for union violence. SSA is also the company that employs Patty Murray’s husband. The players in this terminal project are CARRIX, the parent company of SSA, the
ILWU, and Goldman Sachs that owns the majority stake in CARRIX. Then there is Warren Buffet and BNSF, who owns the rail portion and will receive the lions share of the federal hand-out and Peabody coal that owns the coal they plan to ship.
So, you can see this is nothing more than a re-run of Obama’s previous help for his friends. I don’t think that Obama even cares if this bill passes because he knows it won’t do any good for the economy and if it doesn’t pass, he can blame the Republicans for blocking his efforts. It’s like Thomas Sowell said, it’s a heads I win, tails you lose proposal.
All golf and no work makes Barry a dull boy.
Yeah, but doesn’t that shade of blue on the cover look awfully familiar?
I’m not going to post his campaign logo here, or the sign he had up about office of the president elect, but I think you get the idea.
2 pieces of printed paper as cover sheets and hundreds of blank white sheets = “a bill”....... =.=
