The former treasurer of the Masjid Al Iman mosque has agreed to plead guilty to a charge of persuading a minor to engage in child pornography, federal records show.
Jameel Abdull Raashib, 55, a landscaper who lived in Lauderhill, attended five services daily at the Fort Lauderdale mosque for about 14 years, but didn't appear to have had any interaction with the youths who worship there, the vice president of the mosque's board of directors said earlier this year.
