NY is the more watched election, because the Republican stands a good chance to win in a traditionally Democratic district.

Polls closed at 8? 9? Why no votes counted yet?

I didn’t even know about the Nevada election. Polls just closed about a minute ago in NY, and the 1st round of data comes in at 9:15 EST. I voted in NY about 13 hours ago.

HotAir reports:
Polls close at 9 p.m. ET in New York and 10 p.m. ET in Nevada. PPP surveyed the latter race in just the past few days and predicts a double-digit win for Republican Mark Amodei. McCain barely won the district three years ago but thanks in part to a breezy 33/59 approval rating for Obama, this is now a walkover for the GOP.

The suspense is in New York. In one corner: Republican Bob Turner, who leads by six points in not one but two recent polls. That’s encouraging, as is the fact that the White House is already pre-spinning an expected defeat, but that margin is by no means a guarantee of victory in a special election. In the other corner: A guy who received a kiss-of-death endorsement this morning from Anthony Weiner; who can’t vote for himself today because he doesn’t live in the district — and has no plans to relocate if he wins; and whose secret weapon on the trail appears to be Bowser from Sha Na Na.

Thanks for posting. I hope it goes well in Weiner's old stomping grounds but I'll believe it's a GOP victory when I see the finale tally.

Can't trust polls in Dem strongholds.

I think if the presidential election were held today 0bama would lose NV. We’ll see how things go in 14 months though.

The NY 9 statistics are interesting. I read that Gore got 67% of the vote there but 0bama took it with only 55. I wonder if redistricting in 2000 took out some Democrat voters. I see it also has a black population of only 4% so this might help Turner.

In any case a GOP victory here tonight would be huge. We’ll see how the Dems and the media downplay it.

Why no votes counted yet?

Patience! They need a little time to calculate how many need to be manufactured to pull the DemocRAT over the finish line.

The fraudsters need more time to get their ducks in a row.

Doesn't live in the district? How the hell do New Yorkers put up with that ?

Yes, the SEIU Special Vote Fabrication Squad is likely busy calculating how many votes need to be “found” in the trunk of a car. Then, there is always plan B: sue until you win.

They don’t, at least not this time. Turner, the Republican, will win with 53% of the vote.

Polls in NY closed at 9 (11 minutes ago), we should start seeing results at 9:15 and close to complete numbers by around 10 or 11.

Holder must be very busy fabricating voter fraud himself,
and getting the entire DOJ ready to protect anyone
caught in the endless DNC-voter fraud.
