Anyone other than me think that G*D is at work to save this country?

I don’t think so. America is not an End Times player. God will work tirelessly for his people, but the only nation he is out to save is Israel.

I do think that God originally blessed this nation because so many believers migrated here, but we have free will, which we as a nation used to push God out of our lives, slaughter the unborn, and morally decline in general.

Yes.

I pray daily for a spiritual revival in America, knowing a political revival must inevitably follow. I think that is what is happening.

If God doesn’t judge America, he will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.

That's why Sarah Palin is so intrisic to this entire process. When asked by a reporter a few months ago how she deals with the non-stop vicious attacks on her person and her family, she replied without hesitating, "I have a prayer shield."

Of all the potential candidates she alone is openly candid about being prayer-led in her actions and decisions. She is the most unashamed witness for Jesus Christ in the field. If we are to again receive God's blessing upon this land, we would do well to know which candidate most closely follows His leading, and vote accordingly.

There are doubtless those who don't think we need God, and that perhaps we can do this on our own; perhaps even that we should do it on our own... despite that this is precisely how we got to where we are today.

By turning our backs on God as a nation, and doing what we thought we knew best. It's time for a change. We've taken God out of our classrooms and replaced Him with metal detectors. It is time for a change.

Sarah Palin is that change.

That expression - God helps those who help themselves is actually not Biblical.

The saying, “God helps those who help themselves” was coined by/ attributed to (in modern times) Benjamin Franklin, a Deist.

A Deist is one who believes that while a supreme being did indeed create the universe, that supreme being does not involve generally itself in human affairs, except on a miraculous basis.

He has saved us as a nation since we were born. But this massive turning away has brought judgement upon us. If we let G-d take the blinders off,we can see it everyday.

As I see one obstacle after another (i.e., certain people) standing in the way of Sarah’s run for President self-destruct, I certainly thank God. As long as some Americans are resisting the abortionists and Communists, there is reason to hope that God will have mercy on the U.S.

I hope so.

It is customary in Catholic masses to pray for our political leaders, that God will guide and enlighten them. Even in the clinton years, I prayed that God would somehow enlighten him.

I just can’t do it with Obama. Instead, I pray for our COUNTRY, not our current leaders. If any of those leaders can help our country, then that’s as good as praying for them anyway, because God will guide and make use of them.

I think we all need to pray for our country, that God will lead it back to those traditional values that have been so widely forgotten and lost. Nothing else can fix the mess we have gotten into.

That is the passage the Bible was open to when Ronald Reagan took the oath of office.

God gave us free will. He's watching how it plays out.

Will he be surprised at the outcome?

I’m not religious personally.
I think more people that believe are out to save this country from it’s current disastrous path.

I've been thinking that for a while now. Everything Obama touches works against him. That is divine intervention.

I think that it would do us all a lot of good to realize that many righteous(in God's eyes) people were sent into both Babylonian and Assyrian Captivity for the offenses of the nations Israel and Judah. To name a few: Daniel, Meshak, Shaddrack, and Bennie(:>)), Nehemiah, Jeremiah, and the list goes on. I personally think that the massive drought and crop losses plus recent meteorological phenomenon and earthquakes is a good sign that God is already bringing judgment on us.

Consider this from Jeremiah 14 where he asked God why there was no deliverance from a terrible drought:(actually read the entire chapter) "Thus saith Jehovah unto this people, Even so have they loved to wander; they have not refrained their feet: therefore Jehovah doth not accept them; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. And Jehovah said unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt-offering and meal-offering, I will not accept them; but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence." (Jer 14:10-12 ASV)

Absolutely. Tens of millions praying for that every day are going to be heard by Him. That’s more than ten good men in Sodom or Gommorah. You can see the answer forming up right now, just as in 1980.

If you think God is trying to save this country, then you also must say that God was trying to destroy this country by letting the zero be elected.
