I guess the sources could be lying, but the point is that McGinniss isn't making it up out of whole cloth. Objectively speaking, there could be something to it.
The relevant question before the house is whether or not it would make any difference in her vote support.
My own view is obviously it shouldn't--unless maybe she might pick up a few points among minority voters.

Some apparently do think that (or something similar). A poster yesterday stated that Palin was the closest thing to Jesus on Earth.
I kinda doubt this accusation will mean much. McGinnis hasn’t had any credibility in a long time. He’s a hack. Sarah will likely pay it little attention — it deserves little.

I just spent about 10 minutes searching out the accusations and Glen Rice on google. Mostly what I’m seeing on blogs, etc., is that most folks are laughing and replying sarcastically, not taking it seriously yet. Let’s see what happens with the MSM. This could actually help us.

I'm not going to judge her for the indiscretion or "sin" - I've done MUCH worse in when I was in my 20s. I'm a much different person now as she OBVIOUSLY is.
That said if she was seriously involved with Todd and decided to bang some basketball player while he wasn't looking, that certainly wouldn't elevate her within certain demographics.
There's also the "joke factor." This could become the material of a lot of self-writing jokes. No good can come from that either.

It may not be fair, but people will hold women to a much higher standard them men concerning a one night stand.
