Earlier today, Ed Morrissey pointed out what could have been a record breaking attempt at spinning a loss in New York’s 9th congressional district by DNC chair Debby Wasserman Schultz. It was an heroic effort, I’ll admit, and one for the ages. But never to be outdone, former holder of the 9th district seat and current Empire State Senator Chuck Schumer may have managed to top her.
Why did the Democrats lose this race in a part of town where they hold a 3-1 registration advantage? Well, at least in part, because the district has just become too darned Jewish.

There was a joke that Jackie Mason used to tell, and the punchline was, “Too Jewish.”

Do you have any idea how close to puhsing bigotry such statements are? In fact, this sounds a lot like what Henry Ford had to say back when his success was going up and he just had to run his mouth, or pen, with the Dearborn Independent, and from his newspaper, even paraphrasing, almost the same general points were brought up. The main difference is, Ford wrote an apology letter to the ADL for what he had written, only Hitler and Himmler recycled his antisemitic essays years later, and Hitler wrote honors to him in Mein Kempf as well.
If anything I hope this will show the Jews in NY just what the democrats truly think of them. Hopefully their eyes (some) will be opened.
I would figure that to the Orthodox Jews, this would be nothing new. However, I wouldn’t be past assuming that similar to Christianity, there are plenty of secular Jews, as there are secular Christians in today’s society.
A democret can get away with saying this. A republican would be forced from office.

Gotta love that spin. And I couldn’t stop laughing when I heard Waxman too:
“There are Jews who are trending toward the Republican Party, . . . , quite frankly, for economic reasons. They feel they want to protect their wealth . . . .”
So according to the Dems, Turner won because Jews are greedy.
What UpChuck Schumer is really saying is that there are too many REAL Jews who actually practice their religion in the 9th District. These Jews do not sell their souls for the next vote or the next deal, unlike UpChuck or the loser Weprin. The vast majority of these kind of Jews are quite conservative and support for Israel is an absolute must for any candidate who would have their votes. Homosexual marriage is an abhorred aberration not even to be spoken of in Orthodox circles, yet Weprin came out in favor of it. What kind of “Orthodox” Jew is Weprin? He’s just a fake, a tiny cog in the Democratic machine politics scheme.
I have perfect faith, utterly, that NONE of my Brooklyn friends, quite devote Jews all, voted for Weprin.

Well, I for one am glad to see Chuckie throw the Jewish vote under the bus. That should even out NY and get FLA. out of contention altogether.
