Barkley gives props to Glen Rice for Palin rumor
CBS Sports ^ | September 16, 2011 | Matt Moore

Posted on 09/16/2011 11:11:17 PM PDT by ConservativeStatement

You've no doubt by now heard about the report from... wait for this one... the National Inquirer quoting an upcoming unauthorized biography of Sarah Palin (Deadspin.com brought it to mainstream knowledge). The Inquirer reported that Rice confirmed a sexual encounter with Palin in 1987. We haven't covered it since Rice hasn't been in the league since 2004 and this has nothing to do with basketball. But since if it's anything about anything, Charles Barkley will talk about it, and since, let's be honest, Charles Barkley is never lacking in entertainment value, we thought we'd pass along Barkley's comments about the whole thing Friday. Let's just say Chuck's a little jealous of Glen's, er... relationship. From Sports Radio Interviews: “You know I have a thing for Sarah Palin, I do. I think she’s hot! I wouldn’t vote for her, but she is hot now. I’m talking both. I’ve always said, ‘I’ve got a crush on Sarah Palin.’ I would never vote for her. I always vote democratic because I think you have a better chance of helping poor people if you vote democratic. But, I’ve always had a thing for Sarah Palin. When I read that… Glen Rice is my new hero! He’s my new hero. You know she just moved in my neighborhood and I haven’t had a chance to meet her. I stay in Philadelphia in the summer, and I go back to Arizona when it starts getting cold. That cold is creeping up on me. I’m talking 50 or 60 degrees. So, I’m heading back to Arizona soon and I look forward to meeting Sarah Palin. Hey listen if that story is true, more power to Glen Rice.”

"Democratic"? Or Democrat, Chuck? Yes, the Dems help the poor people. Detroit and Chicago are prime examples.

Barkley is an idiot and is a lot less funny than he is reputed to be.

Oh he is hot for her but he would never vote for her?

Is he a misogynist pig?

Or he is saying that she is the underdog? and that he secretly wants her to rule it?

Or does he just want to get back at whitey by messin with they women?

Charles Barkley has some issues

Only for those who find it amusing to make fun of the handicapped.

Barkley personifies American media. Incompetent commentary about his own sport and given license about everything else, because he’s black and no one will call him on his ludicrous statements. I used to love sports, now can barely watch any sport. Probably for the best.

Went to the grocery store tonight. You should see the Enquirer headlines about Sarah - affair with Todd’s business partner ... she abandoned her kids....naked girls night or something...not to mention the basketball player.

The big big money won’t let her get away with disturbing their golden goose.

Is Charles Barkley being niggardly by saying this? I think so. Definitely.

Who could ever forget that sad day when Barkley announced his career with the Lakers would be cut short because he had AIDS? :)

See Bee Ess

And Barkely, you’re an idiot. But we already knew that.

Sarah should start filing lawsuits against these smear merchants - it would put an end of at least keep to a minimum these lies.

Anything to distract the people from Solyndra and Fast and Furious, which are both Impeachable offenses if they can be traced back to the WH

BTW Charles, what have the Dems done for “poor people” other than keeping them dependent on government so they perpetually vote for Dems?

Well Chuckie, if you come back to AZ this winter, it will be a very, very, cold one for you in this part of the state.

Isn’t it the National Enquirer not Inquirer? anyhooo

Jocks almost never can keep their mouths shut about sex and such.

CBS is just trying to get a rise out of those of us on the ‘right’— they will watch for anything that they can twist as racist or whatever and sling some more crap at the Tea party.

They just have out their nasty chit stirrin’ sticks, that’s all. They’ve kicked the nest and are standing back with stupid grins on their faces waiting to see what happens.

The only thing I worry about now is how this is going to hit Bristol, since she’s going to be doing the reality show living with the Massey brothers.

*sigh*

That was Magic Johnson, a better player and a man with 1000x the class Barkley has.

Chuckie the fat man is moron buffoon. That is being kind. As an Alabamian I am so glad this fool has moved elsewhere. He got a free ride through Auburn and Leeds High School. Actually calling him a moron, buffoon and fool is being unkind to those people. Actually, Charlie holds a level all his own. His own planet.

Liberals are scum. They’ll stoop to anything. Actually, it’s not much of a stoop. They live in the gutter anyway.

Wow, I didn't know that. I knew Magic Johnson quit early because of AIDS but, Barkley, too? Makes you wonder how many others have it.
