Jackie O: MLK Was Terrible, FDR a Phony

The truth is out. The leading lady of liberal America between 1960 and her death in 1994, the standard setter of au courant women with her pillbox hats, bouffant hairstyle, and jet-set friends, the Guinevere to Camelot’s King Arthur himself, didn’t much care for lesbians and Martin Luther King and other leftist world leaders.

The tapes of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (shown as a young First Lady, left) are out, as The New American reported, and their first installment weeks ago revealed that she thought Vice President Lyndon Johnson, the most prodigious and successful election thief in American history, had a role in the killing of her husband.

The latest release contain the whisper-voiced First Lady’s thought on everything and everyone, and she even reveals a weird fact about her husband. As London’s Daily Mail rightly put it, “The fact this purring, Chanel-clad kitten had claws shouldn’t have come as a shock....

....Kennedy apparently was very much a woman of her time and didn’t care for relentlessly driven careerists who put work ahead of family. She thought that only “violently liberal women in politics” would vote for JFK’s opponent in the 1960 Democratic primaries, Adlai Stevenson, because they were “scared of sex.”

She also said women don’t belong with politics because “we’re just not suited for it.”

During the Cuban Missile Cuban Crisis, Mrs. Kennedy begged her husband not to send her away in the event of war, so devoted was she to her husband, despite his noted infidelities.

She also reveals that her husband played with toys in the bathtub and said perfunctory nighttime prayers while kneeling by his bed.

And what was her husband if not a terrible phoney himself?

She may have been correct on several fronts but she was still a flake.

Perhaps Jackie O was more conservative than she herself realized?

I bet the toys he played with in the bathtub was a PT boat and a Japanese cruiser.

At least I hope that was the kind of toys she was referring to...

We watched the show on ABC the other night and it was hilarious watching and listening as Caroline followed immediately after some of these comments attempting to refute them. It was a case of who to believe, her or your lying ears and eyes.

“She thought liberal Democrat hero Franklin Delano Roosevelt was “an insincere show-off.”

Unfortunately, many of the messes we are dealing with today (Social Security) are the legacy of his “showing-off.”

Too bad liberals wouldn't have admitted this earlier!

Kennedy family dressed for church.

WEDDING DAY (Jackie hated her gown---she wore her mother's bridal veil)

If everything about JFK was the same, and his policy decisions etc. were all the same, but it said R after his name rather than D how do you think history would view him at this point?

Sobering to remember that during her short life of 64 years; Jacqueline Kennedy suffered one still-born and one child who lived only 3 days. Was widowed at 34 and again at 46. She also suffered through the death of Robert Kennedy and the loss of Alexander Onassis.

Such turbulent decades for an ‘educated’, but naive innocent. At least she was spared the death of John Jr.

I was not particularly interested in her fashion sense or the fawning adoration by the media - but she seems to have endured unimaginable challenges and adversity with grace and dignified silence. Very rare qualities.

It's amusing to watch the iconoblasts scramble to correct the remarks and try to make them all fit into their politically correct delusions.

"She didn't really mean that."

"She was actually crazy about Lady Bird. She meant it as a compliment. In fact, she was a dog lover!"

I watched about an hour of the Jackie show on an abc site (Diane Sawyer with Caroline, and lots of audio), and then, “Enough!”
The tapes portray a birdbrain, enhanced by pills and booze. Life threw her a cruel blow, but please — don’t ever mix pills and booze with audio tape.

A lot of what was apparently said reflects what for modern liberal/progressives is an unpleasant truth: once the democrats had conservatives as well as lunatics. Not any more.

Naive? I think that there are better words to describe a woman who sold her position in history and global elite society to a billionaire.

As somebody noted above if JFK had an (R) after his name what would we think of him ~ well, for one, we'd think he was a RINO since he'd ended up as Republican only after his father was put away or was dead.

Second, his wife would look fairly Conservative as well and she did have some Republican ancestors.

Might give her a 6 on a scale of 10 ~ but still, she did hang around with entirely too many mind-numbed Leftwingtards.
