Ron Paul's Poisonous Partisans
American Thinker ^ | September 17, 2011 | Larry Bailey

Posted on 09/17/2011 9:13:02 AM PDT by Interesting Times

Some of Ron Paul's most avid (some say "rabid") supporters are not friends of America. The Marxist group "Code Pink" are frequent and vociferous supporters of the good congressman, as are "Iraq Veterans against the War," a Soros-funded group that is sometimes violently opposed to any American intervention overseas, no matter how justified it may be.

Code Pink, headed up by Medea Benjamin, shows up at any anti-American gathering that happens to have media (no pun intended) coverage scheduled. That organization is frequently joined by IVAW in its pursuit of America-bashing.

Now, Rep. Paul cannot be held totally responsible for who attends his rallies and who organizes his Iowa Straw Poll effort, but the public should not be kept in the dark about who it is that has become so close to the congressman.

“The gold stardard? How do you grow the economy on that? Mine more gold?”

A currency could be based on Gold & Silver & Oil & Land, etc. If the government needed to expand the money supply they could sell some land, etc. But the money would ultimately be a credit receipt for something of value.

The system we have now is based on debt. Money is created when someone goes into debt, usually the Government, but also individuals when they take out a loan. When the entity can’t repay the debt the money is DESTROYED and the money supply shrinks.

The system we have now is leading to a tremendous disaster.

By the way Do you really think that if people have to spend 10% more a year on the same goods and services that the economy grew 10%. Most of the economic growth is an illusion based on inflation.

No, let’s tell like it is. The only war that the Anti-war groups hate is a war the US is winning.

Rabid is the right description and we have some of them, right here on FreeRepublic. They might even be along shortly to attack me for saying this.

Unsavory indeed, and it’s sad to see so many people who should know better adopt the John Kerry, Jane Fonda, Bill Ayers, and company modus operandi.

This is the same tactic this author, you and many other posters here on FR are willing to stoop to. If you don’t want it done to you, don’t do it to others ... I believe that’s the Golden Rule isn’t it.

Bailey isn't smearing Paul by falsely comparing him to Marxists and anarchists; he's pointing out that Paul cooperates with them. Your do-unto-others slap would only be valid if Tea Party leaders were working with the KKK.

I think conservatives are afraid of Paul because he’s anti-war, and so they look for ways to link him to marxism.

Which appears disturbingly easy to do.

few people that you will see comment online actually KNOW Ron Paul , or for any length of time , of from back before his dementia set in . Bailey DOES know him and speaks from the authority of that direct experience and knowledge . He is not blowing MJ smoke , like all the , how does he put it , ‘Paulistas’ .

I would not vote for Ron Paul for dog catcher myself ,and with a name like that he should be employed in a beauty parlor or be selling cosmetics , ala Paul Mitchell

Lorianne, Captain Kirk, ex-snook, and yup2394871293, minus_the_bear:

So the Demonrats have their crackpots like Rachel Maddow, Walter Fauntroy and politicususa? So what? Those three are quite analogous to Ron Paul's sycophants at Alex Jones, Code Pink, Stormfront, et al. It is not at all surprising that paleoPaulie attracts more than his numerical share of anti-American crackpots. He deserves to be at the future groundzero when any deployed Iranian nuke arrives. As usual, though, we or Bibi Netanyahu will make that quite unlikely as we bid Teheran and any of its nuke facilities a not so fond farewell.

Let's review the track record of your favorite crackpot, RuPaul. He SAYS he is a "fiscal conservative" whatever that may be. Meanwhile, he stuffs every appropriations bill with Galveston pork, while posing for holy pictures as Congressman Tightwad and voting against the appropriations bills but safely relying on his equally pork-hungry colleagues of both parties to easily overcome his NO vote to enact his pork along with their own. Can you spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E???

El Run poses for holy pictures as a pro-lifer and as a pro-family guy while wink, winking at his college libertoonian leftist antiwar love slaves and absolutely REFUSING to DO anything whatsoever to protect the babies or the institution of marriage from the ongoing onslaught by the SCOTUS and the fedcourts generally. After all, Congress is just powerless against social revolution and, truth be known, the paleosurrenderman wants the entire US government to be castrated to prevent effective action against his Islamofascist pals. While El Run obsesses on "Congressional Declarations of War" which include the formula "Declaration of War" as opposed to Congressional authorizations of the deployment and engagement of our troops against our enemies, he is not quite as committed to the 14th Amendment Right to Life and equal protection of law (which supersedes the 10th Amendment as necessary in case of conflict or ambiguity). Whenever El Run poses for pro-life/pro/family holy pictures, can you spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E????

While Galveston's paleo-Harold Stassen contemplates replacing the American military with letters of marque and reprisal, a few blunderbusses, a uniform of propeller beanies and clothing thought fashionable by the lavender queens and other perverts whose continued infesting of the military he so thoroughly approves, this nation has real enemies whose efforts he wishes to ignore.

Fortunately, the GOP controlled Texas legislature has used the opportunity of redistricting to carve up and effectively abolish his district and put a stop to the national nightmare of this gutless pipsqueak embarrassing the GOP and Texas. He then announced that he would not run for re-election to Congress (Promise? Threat?) because he will be concentrating, ummmmm, on his POTUS campaign. Yeah, that's the ticket!!!

The fact that the overwhelming majority of actual conservatives disagree vehemently (and with truth as their ally) with paleoPaulie's frauds and his delusions and with your opinions does not put him or you in a position to be playing the victim card. Paulie should don his straitjacket like a nice fellow and depart now for Happy Acres for the rest of his useless life.

No, all the KKK has to do is have one member show up at a tea party rally and the whole tea party is smeared.

People here are using the same tactic on Paul.

It’s shameful.

That's a dishonest comparison. Bailey is providing evidence of actual coordination between Paul and leftist radicals. Flapping your hands and crying "shame, shame" does nothing to discredit what he is reporting.

A Paul supporter tried to buy these ads, not Paul. You know this, of course. You are obviously making it up when you claim you ever had a “better opinion” of Paul.
