Cain Campaign: No "Honkies for Herman" Bumper Stickers
The Atlantic Wire ^ | September 16, 2011 | Elspeth Reeve

Herman Cain has said his popularity in Republican primary polls proves the Tea Party isn't racist. But that doesn't mean his supporters avoid the issue of race altogether, because his communications director, Ellen Carmichael, tweeted Friday, "People are calling & asking where they can purchase their 'Honkies for Herman' and 'Crackers for Cain' bumper stickers. We don't make those."

I think Herman Cain could take Black votes away from Obama. A lot of Blacks who are not happy with Zero could vote for Cain without feeling guilty about not voting for a brotha. But, I'm not so sure a "Honkies for Herman" or "Crackers for Cain" bumper sticker would be a good idea.

Right...like about 2%. While Cain is a real America...in the minds of Libs, he is just an Uncle Tom.

He escaped the plantation and that makes him a REAL hero...but that is bridge too far for the American Civil Rights Movement.

I think both of those voters weren't going to vote for barry anyway.

I gave up on Cain after the last debate. He hasn't made any significant move, so I will look for him in 2016. I believe in him and what he can do, but he just isn't getting it done.

Good Lord, why would you tweet that? Fodder for the enemy.

But, in the privacy of the voting booth, you never know what people are going to do. But, If he did take just 2% of the Black Vote from Zero, that could make the difference in a lot of States in a close election.

Good for him!

I try my hardest to avoid any advertisers that pander to one race or another (Usually not mine: e.g. 365black.com).

I loved Col Allen West’s comment on this...

” I feel like the Harriet Tubman of the black Caucaus!”

We found out here in Maryland at the last election that a black man who is Conservative will not draw black votes.

We had a great Candidate in Charles Lollar, he had it all.

Smart ,a Veteran, a Marine Reserve Major,Great speechmaker who made Steny Hoyer sound like a fool at debates, but he didnt promise the black voters the entitlements Steny Hoyer did and he was Republican and the Black voters went for Hoyer.

We will back Charles again next time, Maybe Steny will get his azz handed to him then.

I wouldn’t buy one. RACE SHOULDN’T MATTER.

I would proudly buy a Cain 2012 sticker, but not one talking about color, black or white.

OH REALLY???? Well I gave up on my Governor, the light-weight Rick Perry; the guy everyone is going orgasmic over. It won't be long now before people see what a dolt he is and how he doesn't have the moxie or the smarts to kick a** in a debate. Not to mention all his baggage. Zero will mop the floor with him in a Debate. Those of us who have live in Texas and have been around during his 22 years of being a Professional Politician, know that if the GOP nominates him, Obama will have another 4 years in the White House. His skeletons haven't even begun to come out of the closet.

Herman Cain is way too serious and dignified to allow his campaign to produce anything like that. Now, if I run across something like that from another source, it’s going on my car!

Of course not. They identify with an upper-middle-class half-black kid who went to a private school in Hawaii and had a Communist mentor. You know, someone who really understands the experiences of the typical black person growing up in the U.S.

NO DEMS POSTED: I gave up on my Governor, the light-weight Rick Perry; the guy everyone is going orgasmic over. N-i-c-e input----glad he doesn't have ALL Texans fooled. How this phony fraud Perry fooled so many is really hard to believe...............

My view is Texans don't have much say in his state races. Senor Ricky gets away with mucho BS in Texas. Cattle country doesn't demand veracity...or much else...from its elected officials.

Gov Perry's ongoing suckups to illegals raise serious questions about his curious string of unbroken elections wins.

QUESTIONS PERRY SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO ANSWER

<><> Have you made deals with illegal aliens (1) to exchange campaign cash and votes for gratuities, (2) to use your office to get illegals US govt handouts?

<><> Did you promise illegals tax paid-free education, EITC, welfare, food stamps, UI, SS, SSI, healthcare, sub-prime mortgages, subsidized bank loans in exchange for votes?

<><> Do you know this is a felony?

<><> Do you know which identity illegals use to register to vote for you?

<><> Do you know illegals who qualify for Texas in-state tuition may also be eligible for state aid?

<><> Do you know that ‘state aid’ to illegals is paid for by American citizens?

===========================================

Perry has a curious string of unbroken wins in Texas that would be hard to achieve elsewhere....plus a mighty presidential war chest of million and millions of dollars, apparently accumulated when he said he WAS NOT running for president.

Watching him in action, I get the feeling Texans don't have much say in the matter of Perry being elected governor.......and he's climbing over the backs of Americans to achieve his presidential ambitions.

BACKSTORY Perry did not officially enter the Iowa straw poll......but he calculatedly timed throwing his hat in the ring on the same day Bachman won the Iowa straw poll----stomping all over Bachman's hard-won victory.

Perry cunningly manipulated the Iowa vote from Texas. That strategy was supposed to put him over the top. Instead he got a pathetic 700-800 write-ins ...while Iowa winners who did the right thing-—spending time and money there-—— got 4000 votes each.

The Perrydactyl's were cued to "say" Ricky won Iowa. And there Perry was----front and center---waving to Iowans, taking pics in front of prominent Iowa banners---manipulating the media to make it look like he was the winner.

The winner in his own mind.

I’m a big fan of Herman Cain, who’s a sensible man, but I’m not sure about these bumper stickes. Republicans don’t think about color first, so I suspect this is a lib trick.

I like Cain, but I don’t see him winning for the sole reason that he has very little name recognition. I hope I’m wrong.
