In FL Straw Poll, a Late Surge for Herman Cain (more Perry debate fallout)
The Washington Examiner ^ | Saturday, September 24, 2011 | Byron York

ORLANDO -- There's no scientific polling, but talks with dozens of delegates who will vote in today's Florida straw poll suggest that many are making last-minute decisions to vote for Herman Cain.

What seems to be happening is this: A lot of delegates came to Orlando planning to vote for Rick Perry. But Perry's poor performance at Thursday night's Fox News-Google debate gave them pause and re-opened the question of whom they will support. And many of the conservatives who were attracted to Perry will, when asked for a second choice, naturally gravitate to Cain, who, it just happens, had a particularly good debate on Thursday. So with Perry not commanding the loyalty he did just 48 hours ago, Cain appears to be picking up support.

He's a pizza salesman.

He was CEO of several multi billion dollar corporations. What is the President of the USA? He is the USA's CEO.

How about instead of helping the Propaganda bot media with your shameless demagoguery you try being even a shade accurate in your postings for a change?

I’ve been very impressed by Cain. He’s a Mathematics Major and can express what our fiscal policies are doing. He seems to understand cause and effect. And the media will ignore him since he IS a conservative.

“I believe the polls are for steering the sheep.”

Yes, the polls are totally manipulated...meaningless, in my opinion.

I’m sure Hermain Cain wasn’t an expert on how to make a pizza, but did that stop him from being CEO of Godfather’s Pizza?

An executive knows to surround himself with good people. That’s why I don’t worry about his lack of political experience.

He's a pizza salesman.

A CEO is not a salesman. You've got any more ignorant statements you'd like to make?

This Establishment bot dogma of "electability" is pure stupid nonsense designed to per select the GOP candidate for us.

BINGO. With the independent mindset put forth by the Tea Party folks, this same old line is falling flat. Enough GOP voters have held their nose and voted for the candidate those In The Know told us had the best chance. It's gotten us to where we are now.

I've heard speculation that Cain's just in it, at this point, to promote his
next book that's due out October or November.

One yhing I like about Cain is that he focused on Obama and never bothers tocriticize the other GOP candidates, but efficiently uses evry meager second of microphone time to speak his ideas and principles in a positive fashion.

I have to admit, I have assumed that a guy with no political office-holding experience was a very big negative. I’m looking again on him.

So do I. But he can't win

Total nonsense. With even Paul pulling with single digits of 0 any GOP candidate can win. This Establishment bot dogma of "electability" is pure stupid nonsense designed to per select the GOP candidate for us. At this point in 2007 McCain was one one of the bottom 3 in every single poll. The notion that GOP voters should decide who to vote for based on polls is a media manufactured propaganda tool that Conservative had better wake up to. The Junk media wants to per-select the candidates. YOU are helping them with your baseless "he cannot win" propaganda.

Quit it. Be part of the solution, not part of the problem

“He was CEO of several multi billion dollar corporations. What is the President of the USA? He is the USA’s CEO.”

So Zero could effectively run a major corporation when he’s out of office?

Cain/Rubio IMHO are UNBEATABLE. Both come from humble beginnings. Both have little to no baggage. Both are amazingly articulate honest focused and speak from their heart. We have got to stop the MSM train of Romney Perry. All Cain needs is face time and money. Heaven equals an Obama Cain debate. Can you imagine a debate between Biden and Rubio ?
