REPORTING FROM MEXICO CITY -- The United States government has yet to brief Mexican authorities on the failed Fast and Furious gun-running operation that led to scores of American weapons being smuggled purposefully into a raging drug war, Mexico's top law enforcement official told The Times.

"At no time did we know or were we made aware that there might have been arms trafficking permitted," said Atty. Gen. Marisela Morales in comments from a recent interview with Times reporters published Tuesday. "In no way would we have allowed it, because it is an attack on the safety of Mexicans."

Can you say “rogue international arms trafficking” Alex? Perhaps including bribes from cartels not yet disclosed?

I’m pretty sure that the big-eared narcissistic Marxist isn’t going to appoint a Special Prosecutor without a lot of public bitching from Mexico about the 200 murdered mexicans tied to F&F firearms, because murdered Border Patrol agents just don’t carry enough weight.

It will be difficult to explain, there is no legitimate reason for it.

Many Mexicans have died and many more will die because of Obama's criminal attempt to destroy the 2nd amendment.

Mexico has yet to explain its existence. That won’t stop Obama from crawling on hands and knees, bowing and scraping to apologize once more for the evil US. Albeit, an evil of his making. ...I say skip all the apologies, and arm every Mexican citizen, so the criminal circus they call a country can be enjoyed by one and all. It’s entirely unfair for our Chicago criminals to arm their criminal friends without giving the rest of Mexico’s population a chance.

Are you kidding? The President of Mexico was in on it from the start. That’s obvious when he played such a large part in the initial propaganda campaign, with Zero and Hillary.

OK I will have a shot at it:

US DEA and FBI agents gave cash to your mexican criminals in the zetas, gulf cartel, sinaloa cartel, and similar, and the mexican criminals came illegally to the united states to buy thousands and thousands of weapons, especially semi-automatic high caliber pistols and semi-automatic AR-15 and AK-47 type rifles, from our American federally licensed and controlled gun stores, using straw buyers who illegally bought the guns with the US government cash, at the instructions to store owners by US ATF agents to allow the sales to be consummated, and the straw buyers then gave the guns to the mexican criminals to take them to mexico or otherwise use them in their drug smuggling and human smuggling operations and firefights against mexican and US authorities and private citizens, leading to hundreds of criminal deaths of people in the US and Mexico, including a border partol agent and a dea agent, by use of the illegally sold weapons owned now by the criminal mexican cartels, including use of the weapons in smuggling operations and operations conducted by the cartels in mexico against the mexican police and military forces and civilians, all of which was a plot from the highest levels of the US government, from the President, Secretary of State, Secretary of Homeland Security, Attorney General, etc, to justify revoking the second constitutional amendment right of Americans to keep and bear arms (which shall not be infringed) and to destabilize Mexico and threaten the security of the United States and its borderlands and increase the illegal immigration of mexicans into the US to avoid the increasing lawlessness in their own lands.

Is that about right? Nothing is stranger than the truth.

Holder’s people tried to use your country (Mexico) as a pawn in the game to destroy the USC’s 2nd amendment by turning public opinion against guns and gun trafficking.

Almost.

You forgot the ending. Yes it hasn`t been written yet but we can all see it coming:

The GOP/RINO elites hold hearings that merely skim over the surface of the evidence . A few minor peons lose their jobs. A sternly worded report is written. It disappears down the memory hole. Obama retires to a comfortable zillianiare lifestyle being worshipped wherever he gives 500,000 dollar a pop speeches.

“But, given the river of weapons that flows into Mexico from the U.S., do a few more make a big difference?”.. I believe that the original “Gunrunner” operation under Bush concluded there was NO “Iron Pipeline” from the US to Mexico. Obama’s regime said if there isn’t one, we’ll make one. My sources are accurate. Is Mexico’s?

Has anyone ever postured the questions: How is it the straw buyers knew which dealers to get massive buys from?

Then, for the real scheme to be successful (gun control in the U.S.) some of the guns would have to be FOUND at the crime scenes to be traceable back to the U.S. dealers - but WHY would the drug cartel thugs drop the weapons at the scene to BE found?

/were they ‘paid off’ to leave the links to the crimes/guns with having all the extra weapons for their use AND not have to worry about being tracked down?

Would the whole runner op be useful any other way?

Evil, America hating people are in charge - there’s been a coup at the WH. Time to recognize that.

***Holder’s people tried to use your country (Mexico) as a pawn...***

And still are via the last paragraph in http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/world_now/2011/09/us-has-yet-to-explain-fast-and-furious-to-mexico-official-says.html

“Yes, it was bad and wrong, and you have to ask yourself, what were they thinking?” a senior official in President Felipe Calderon’s administration told The Times, referring to Fast and Furious. “But, given the river of weapons that flows into Mexico from the U.S., do a few more make a big difference?”

Sounds like the LAT mistook the administration that unnamed senior official is connected to...

In opening statements at the conference on Wednesday, Attorney General Marisela Morales called for strengthening the strategy against “narcomenudeo”, or local drug dealing for domestic consumption, which she admitted is the real engine driving violence in the country, and was the motive for the murder of the 35 people in Veracruz.

Morales emphasized that Mexico must put an end to this criminal phenomenon that has generated the struggle between organized criminal gangs seeking to seize control of several territories within the country...

My optimism could be betraying me but I think Mexico is getting ready to help level the executive branch.
