“the natural products you rely on to support your health.”
any scientific evidence for that or is this just to make you feeeeel like you are doing something?

To wit, what business is it of the government’s? - which is the point of this.
Where were you people on Andro, and Ephedra.
Oh, right...that’s only for gym rats.
And now you’re shocked, shocked to discover they’ve come for you.
I think this issue was the #1 all-time leader in Number of Petitions to Redress Grievance prior to the Wall Street bailouts of ‘08.

You’re right. We should bring in all that Chinese toothpaste into the country. So what if a little anti-freeze gets in?
So, businesses should be allowed to claim their products do anything they say they do without having to provide any evidence?
That's not how things work.
they want you dependent on the government health system and they do not want you to live too long. just another stepping stone toward their objective.
It should, certainly, be the business of the FDA to try to keep poisonous Chinese additives out of our country. But it is NOT their business to outlaw all additives as a favor to the big drug companies. Unfortunately they do a lousy job policing Chinese imports, but they are all too eager to dictate to citizens what they can and cannot do.
As it happens, I take all three of the additives mentioned in this article, “Resveratrol, CoQ10, curcumin.” The first and third may help stave off senile dementia, which my mother suffered from in old age. The second is essential to take with lipitor, which my doctor prescribes, to prevent possible damage to the liver. My doctor, after investigating the matter, agrees.
I take the supplements I need at fairly modest cost. I do NOT need some government regulator forcing me to pay ten times as much.
imagine if every vitamin, every aspirin, every cough syrup, every itch cream, was only available by prescription
Now imagine your obamacare physicians assistant (forget seeing a doctor)had a 6 month wait for non-urgent appointments and yr deductible for those presciptions was hundreds of dollars
those of us who use reveratrol, curcumin, melatonin, SAMe and other supplements know if it works for us or not
I am guessing the Vit D3 doesn’t hurt us, either
I just hope I see a govt clampdown coming in time to stock up as long as the shelf life can hold
I predict a surge in herb gardens and spice purchases. I use several supplements in lieu of prescriptions that actually made me more ill than the condition they were supposed to treat. If removed from the shelves, it would be disastrous for me.
Bump
I heard (from reliable authorities) it's an excellent whitening agent.
I take no supplements other than alcohol (already heavily regulated). Am I a New Age criminal?
Why, would you like that?
