President Obama is using the beginning of Rosh Hashanah as a chance to say that he “will continue to stand with Israel.”

Obama recorded a video for the Jewish community, released Tuesday, in which he says that Israel faces “the uncertainties of an unpredictable age.”

“While we cannot know all that the New Year will bring, we do know this: The United States will continue to stand with Israel, because the bond between our two nations is unshakable,” he says.

He doesn't know which way to turn - he's supposed to be against Israel - but with the Jewish folk turning against him - he's trying to appear on both sides of the issue.
