McGinniss has been sued before and lost. I wouldn't bet on a proven liar.

The publisher, IMHO, is not interested in the truth any more than McGinniss is. They figure with their legal team that they can hold it up in courts and outlast Sarah.

I hope she proves them wrong and takes them to the cleaner. They deserve it.

Truth, outright lies, or mere tabloid excesses, any and all controversy/suits resultant will add to the book’s gross ! IOW “there ain’t no such thing as “bad publicity” ! >PS

I wonder how much money Sarah Palin will win. More important, how much McGinniss and Crown will lose.

"In 1987, McGinniss agreed to pay $325,000 to settle a lawsuit brought
by the convicted murderer who was the subject of McGinniss’s book Fatal Vision."

"In 2003, Random House released a larger-than-life, massive bestseller
by James Frey entitled A Million Little Pieces. Later, it was revealed that the book
was a fantastical literary hoax that made its way past some of the highest-paid
and most respected editors and lawyers in the literary world. Doubleday/Random House
felt compelled to offer full refunds to those who had bought the book."

Soros must have promised to cover their losses, otherwise this would be suicide.

Looks like Crown Publishing better flip the phone book over and call the Lawyer on the back. Palin is going to sue their ass to oblivion.

Could be a just a brave face that RH/Crown are putting up since the facts as known are against them and McGinnis. Maybe they plan to let it run awhile and then quietly settle before any trial. Sarah isn't bluffing and I think they are.

If anyone has the time for it, it might not hurt to go to Amazon and vote on the numerous reviews there.

Read them if you like, or just vote “yes” on the one-star reviews and “no” on the four or five-star reviews.

There are more lib reviews than conservative. Obviously the Obamanoids have been very busy.

I guess Crown Publishing is playing a little offense because they have no defense

In the end they will offer to settle....

Just how much is the only question...

I love it. Applebaum is going all in and betting the company with a Queen high.

Todd and Sarah are slow playing their pocket Aces just waiting for these guys to make yet another stupid mistake.

My guess is the Palin’s have many more incriminating emails and witnesses willing to testify on their behalf. This is going to be fun to watch.

Doesn’t she have the option of sueing for two years? She can just leave this hanging over their heads while she goes about her business- and they don’t know when the ax might fall. I think it might be a way for her to formally object and leave the door open for a suit. They better hope she runs and wins- cause if she don’t she’ll have a lot of time for a lawsuit and nothing to lose.

“McGinniss has been sued before and lost. I wouldn’t bet on a proven liar.”

The real tragedy, and I do mean tragedy, is that the filthy stinking obammy whores in the “media” will get lots and lots of mileage out of the whole thing. Too lazy to even question the lack of a legitimate birth certificate from the worthless slacker, but ready with knives and forks to destroy a decent human being.
