Remember that clever little Ford ad that showed an actual buyer being led into a surprise news conference and answering impromptu questions? You know, the one where the buyer says, I wasnt going to buy another car that was bailed out by the government. I was going to buy from a manufacturer thats standing on their own: win, lose, or draw. Thats what America is about is taking the chance to succeed and understanding when you fail that you gotta pick yourself up and go back to work.

I had a f150, it went 250K plus, outside of normal maintenance which I did myself I had no repairs with exception of some bad front brake calipers and an alternator that blew as a result of a dead short in the battery. After 250k the transmission was going so I sold it to Obama in the cash for clunkers program and bought a Hyundi for my Wife. It is about time I buy a new 150 for me.

I migrated to Ford after the Chevy Cavalier (my family was a Chevy family in the 1950s and the 1960s, and old traditions die an extremely slow and agonizing demise in my family).
Now I have three Fords. It was four but someone drove the Exploder like a passenger car, not a good idea lol. The remaining three are all 1968 or earlier.
