I don’t care what the ethnic breakdown of the population is as long as most of them are Americans, love the flag and Constitution and support what America stands for.
Everything else is irrelevant.
The GOP has a lot of problems. The Tea Party is just the “Tonic” the doctor ordered. The next dose they need is to make a more vigorous outreach to the Hispanic and Black communities. They have to stop “writing off” these people DESPITE rebuffs from the racialists who try to dominate their politics.
With people like Marco Rubio, Colonel Allen West, Alan Keyes, Herman Cain, and many others, we KNOW that there is hope for conservatism and loyalty among ALL ethnic groups in America.
Many of the troops which have fought and died for this country from its very inception have been black, and starting around WW2, Hispanic, in background.
As long as they consider themselves Americans first, that is all I care about.
And I am a white Anglo-American, despite the tagname.
We have to reach out to all Americans. But importing poor aggrieved minorities, natural Democrats, is not going to help. We have high unemployment. Now is the time to reduce immigration for all Americans, especially Blacks and Hispanic Americans who are primary losers to new immigrants and illegal aliens.
“As long as they consider themselves Americans first, that is all I care about”.
Amen, brother, Amen!
The massive importation of noncitizens illegally by employers intent on breaking the law for profits is a stab in the back to all Americans, and foremost to people in, or trying for, "moveup" jobs, whose just compensation the hiring of illegals intentionally undercuts.
To say nothing of the counterfeiting of citizenship.
Just saw your post...My son’s back is covered by Garcia, Boyd, Hogan, Collins, (a Latino, a Black, and I’m not sure what else). My son is Hungarian, English, Scottish, Welsh, and Native American. They all get along and as long as they love him, I will love them.
By the time I am 70 I will have to really learn spanish. Does Rosetta Stone work for the elderly?
