The only time I was in an Officer's Club was 15 years ago for a friend's wedding, which was not sleazy in the least, so I had no context in which to imagine what you were talking about. I appreciate your having taken the time to describe the situation.
Like you, I dread what will happen to our straight soldiers in Political-Correctness Hell as the military becomes infected with "out" behaviors. I lived in a large city and worked in the arts, so I'm already aware of how bad that can be.

The Mooj were killing Soviet gruntski’s with bolt-action, WWII vintage .303 caliber Lee-Enfield “Smileys” at longer ranges than their counterparts’ AK47s and AK74s could reach. They were hitting and running, picking targets of opportunity and of THEIR choice, and they did a pretty good job of handing Ivan his ass on a platter. Hell, they owned the skies with their MiL-24 Hinds and Su-35 Frogfoot ground attack aircraft; they had armored vehicles and Spetznaz teams all over the place, and the Mooj were killing them in DROVES in spite of all that. Those tanks and helicopters all have weak spots - and those weak spots have to eat, pee, crap, sleep eventually.
The Mooj made a whole mess o’ “Heroes Of The Soviet People” and sent them home in boxes to mamaski and papaski - with old “obsolete” rifles, captured modern stuff, and of course, some upgraded toys provided courtesy of Mr. Reagan and Uncle Sugar.
The Rifleman, with the will, determination, and skill to use it, is THE single biggest threat to ANY would-be conqueror. Now multiply that a bit - that is why the left craps themselves at the thought of 80 million armed Americans - with at least a third of whom that are pissed-off, motivated, and have serious training, serious will, and serious attitude; these are folks who have been preparing - physically and mentally - for “Der Tag” for a long, long time.
So to your first point of confiscating our weapons, yes, they’re trying to find excuses to do so (witness Project Gunwalker currently going on - nothing more than a blatant criminal attempt to undermine the Second Amendment). hey’ve BEEN trying for years, and we just keep getting stronger.
Think of it - this assclown admin has been the single BEST gun salesman we’ve ever had. More people are carrying now, in more States (43, I think), further swelling the ranks of the American Gun Culture, and becoming used to the once-familiar knowledge that “Yeah, I can protect MYSELF, and this is my RIGHT to do so...” despite all the best efforts of the socialist asswipes to erase that mentality.
Once a man (or a woman too) understands that they have the power to control a fraction of their own destiny - that they are NOT powerless, not helpless and weak, not dependent on or at the mercy of anyone else’s “by your leave”, it becomes increasingly difficult to erase that knowledge - in spite of all the attempts by the left to do so.

PLUS, new recruits are constituted by nearly 50% foreign born people. How hard will it be to get them to obey orders not acceptable to American born people. Witness how unwilling Filipino, or Mexican born people are in the workplace, to make waves. Where my sister works at a nursing home, they recently passed out “questionaires” about personal lives. They included facebook pages, email addresses, and information on hobbies, and extended family members. My sister bristled, but all of her foreign born co-workers, mostly immigrants from the Phillipines, were puzzled. They mostly said it would be “fun” to know more about their co-workers, and it would help the management to better know them.
Near 50% enlistment rate from non-citizens in our military, will help with a Hugo Chavez type of power grab. They will follow orders no matter what, in large numbers.
Do the armed forces even allow people who require continual medical treatments to join up? Are diabetics allowed to join the military?
I thought that requiring continuous medication was an insurmountable hurdle.
What happens in time of war when the he/she can't get his/her hormones?

After entering the Army, I was in several, in the U.S. and abroad. It was pretty much the same.

I’m not, and never will be. Personally, I don’t care what grown adults do with their lives and to each other in the privacy of their own lives. But I damn sure DO care what those same grown adults try to do to impressionable kids who don’t know any better, or when they deliberately target and prey upon confused, mixed-up emotionally and hormonally-supercharged teenagers.
And I sure as hell do care what those same grown adults try to do to pervert the law and legal system to criminalize any dislike or criticism of their lifestyle. At that point it goes from “Live and Let Live” to “If You Mean To Have A War...”

I wouldn’t, and you probably wouldn’t either, brother. I’d make my disgust very well known and completely apparent - no matter who it was.

They are, to a large degree. Absolutely.
Somewhere along the precariously fragile developmental lifeline of their child, they FAILED to protect the kid. They weren’t paying attention to the predators surrounding their kids, the music they were listening to, the teachers that were educating or indoctrinating them on a daily basis, the television shows and movies they were watching, and the people who were surreptitiously and in some case OPENLY soliciting to influence THE single most important obligation in a person’s life - their CHILDREN.
Same thing with drugs, or gangs, or with any other issue where the dangers to our kids are real, pervasive, and persistent. There’s NO room for ignorance in this day and age. We sure as HELL can’t count on the law to help out the normal folk; it’s been subverted and is being used against US. OUR system, OUR society, that OUR people created, is being turned against us.
So we have to fight back any and every way we can; and the single, biggest way we can subvert what THEY’RE doing is exert every single ounce of parental influence we can, counteract and refute every piece of BS propaganda our kids get exposed to - from the time they go to kindergarten on up - and let our kids know that no matter WHAT they are told, what TV shows them, what the “teacher” says - that particular way of living is NEVER going to be “normal”.
At the end of the day, what the other side is doing is trying to destroy any vestige of our Christian nation and self-identity as such. They’re trying to subvert and ultimately erase the family, our parental influence and rights as parents, and our history, culture, heritage, and even the very idea of us regarding ourselves as a cohesive people and Nation.
When we become parents, we have ONE job to do: keep our kids safe, healthy, morally strong, and give them the wisdom to know right from wrong, so they grow up to be good, decent Americans - with a chance at a happy, productive life. That’s the single most important job that we are tasked with.
So yeah...somewhere, they DID fail. And to be somewhat compassionate (difficult for me of late, but it happens sometimes), the pressures and pain of living in this f***ed up world distracts us all from time to time. Some people, unfortunately more than others, and the results can be downright catastrophic for our kids.
Failure is NOT an option when we become Dad and Mom...but it always a possibility. And when we’re too busy to pay attention to what’s going on in our kids’ lives, it becomes an awful probability.
And sometimes, unfortunately, despite our best efforts, despite being the best parents in the world, sh*t just happens. The predators get through to our kids, and because we weren’t paying attention to certain OTHER adults in the political system, who were fronting for the predators and making something most of us consider reprehensible legal, we get to stand there and watch as the people we love are corrupted and pulled away from us.
But it still doesn’t make it normal, nor do ANY of us have to accept it, tolerate it, or pretend that it is so.
We may have to live in a society that is decaying all around us, but if WE stick together and remember who we are and where we came from, all the psycho lunatic lefty groups combined will NEVER win.
At the end of the day, there’s many, many, many more of us than them. And to paraphrase one of their cutesy little phrases - “We REALLY are Everywhere”.
