Gov. Chris Christie is seriously rethinking his months of denials and may launch a campaign for the White House after all, a source close to the governor said tonight.

In the last week, Christie has been swayed away from his earlier refusals to run by an aggressive draft effort from a cadre of Republicans and donors unhappy with the GOP field, said the source, who was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity.

At one time the Gerald R. Ford House Republicans did have a liberal group called the Wednesday Club, but I haven’t heard of that organization in years. Everytime I type “Gerald R. Ford” I get sick in the stomach.

Nancy Davis Reagan also spoke out against Oliver North in the 1994 Senate race.

“Reagan was the presumptive nominee ...”

Uh, somebody forgot to tell Bob Dole, GHWB, and John Connally that.

That’s exactly how Spiro T. Agnew got the No. 2 nomination in 1968. And HHH still won MD.

Hey, “observer ata ping pong match,” that’s what the late abortion-booster Admiral Stockdale said about Algore and Quayle sparring in their little 1992 exchange.

I am just correcting an error you made about his pro-life stance. And I will also correct another one - I’m not wishing for Christie. I did not vote for Christie in the NJ GOP primary. I do not want him as POTUS. He is a pro-illegal, gun grabbing, pro-global warming RINO.

Actually, in his past, Christie DID just that.

Ronald Reagan was a Democrat, as was Rick Perry. McCain was rumored to have done it far too recently, when any right thinking American would be going the other way. What can I say? McCain is "Palin Approved" and so comfortabley ensconced in the Senate until he decides to retire.

There is a difference.

Reagan CHANGED his philosophies when he ran for national office. He was a CONSERVATIVE when he ran for office. I remember, I was there.

Christie is STILL unapologetically pro-Muslim and anti-gun, and pro-global warming. Also he STILL hasn’t come out and stated his policies with respect to illegal invaders, aside from criticize Perry, and his past statement that illegals were not breaking the law by being here. Also, he believes people can be fired for making political statements ON THEIR OWN TIME, burning a Koran in protest at the Ground Zero Mosque is “hateful”, the Ground Zero Mosque is a “Local Issue”, people who questioned his appointment of Muslim Sohail Mohammad as a Superior Court Judge are “crazies”, etc. etc.

If it WALKS like a RINO, Talks like and ACTS like a RINO, its a RINO!

How ANYBODY can think this guy is suited for National Office is BEYOND me, if you are a conservative.

He has ALL the flaws of the most liberal candidates running TOGETHER.

The only GOOD thing I can say about this guy is he isn’t Obama and he should be our very LAST choice.

She’s a nice old lady and Ronald Reagan’s wife. He loved her and she treated him with respect and loyalty.

I won’t criticize her judgements although I disagree with them.

My governor is a liberal republican too. Maybe he should run as well.

Hey, great! Send him a letter -- loooberal Republicrats love to get mail telling them what wunnerful human beans they are .... how kind to the vunnable </Sheila Jackson Lee>, how thoughtful and inventive and fresh and .... oh, wait, that's a douche commercial -- well, anyway, he'll appreciate the letter.

If he gets in, we can enjoy a few brewskis as we play the same game the RiNO's have been playing on us -- get all the liberals in there, bust up the support for Romney and Perry and any other RiNO's who might jump in ...... and wait for Sarah to declare and blast all the water out of the pool.

Meanwhile, I want to hear from all the TV talking heads about how it's too late for Christie to run. I want to hear them give Christie the business they've been giving Sarah -- "Too late, too late, train's left the station, party's over, turn out the lights ....."

[Michele Bachmann] is struggling because she made a fool of herself, plain and simple.

With a lot of help from Ed Rollins. Hiring him was "One Big-Assed Mistake Michele!" -- OBAMM!

I'm sticking with my theory that Rollins is a Judas working undercover for the RiNO's to wreck Bachmann's campaign and, if possible, screw up Palin and Cain at the same time.

And I want the 10th amendment respected by judges who realize the 14th amendment is not a blank check for them to run rough shod over the state’s sovereignty.

That's the problem with the 14th Amendment. Overlooking its questionable ratification (some people believe it was never ratified, and they have a good argument), the problem is that it reifies the fact of the Civil War, and the further fact that the Civil War was Lincoln's way around the Constitution, that allowed him to destroy slavery in the South, by destroying the South.

The American Constitution was substantially altered and repealed in part, by a convention of two million bayonets at the call of one man. And the 14th Amendment and associated Supreme Court decisions led by one of Lincoln's most ardent war-cabinet officers, make that violent convention real for us today.

What Republic? The people who won the Civil War had no further use for it, so they made other arrangements. In their language, yougoddaprollemwidat?

The race was over by April 1st. I think Bush won only one primary (Michigan?) of consequence after then.
