Anyone who doesn’t see what is going on here as a grave threat to the nation is simply insane. And no one on the GOP side would be aggressively pushing the gay military agenda. Romney probably doesn’t have the guts to un-do it, but this is a lesson to all who say that RINOs are no different from obama. No Republican would have started going this direction; some Republicans would undo it. But elections matter, and the worst Republican is FAR FAR better than obama. This would NOT be happening if obama were not President.

When did and why in the hell is our US military becoming a social experiment? Kill the economy, kill the military seems to be the order of the liberals.

Faggots and Dykes, everywhere we look, are being accommodated as the Government now panders for votes, AS ALWAYS, on the taxpayers' dime.

This will cost a bundle, and these "Marriages" are not legal, nor are they even able to pass the smell test.

When the Faggot and Dyke Rule was implemented in the Military, you knew it was going to lead to more and more Federal interference with decency in the workplace, at ALL levels.

The liberals have decided that the Defense of Marriage Act should not be the law of the land. Liberal feelings on this issue trump what the law actually says. Thus, this feeling paves the way for homosexual marriages performed by military chaplains.

And Obama, is his wisdom, has decided that DOMA is unconstitutional. So liberals just act as if that law doesn’t exist anymore.

I served as an Army Medic from 69-77 . My first Article 15 came at Ft.Carson when a newly promoted Sp-4 kept grabbing the FNG’s crotch-and would not back down. We bloodied each other equally made a mess of the bay -turning over bunks and wall lockers. And when it was done I got 15 days extra-duty and a $25.00 fine —and one of those days extra duty counted as my help with the Company BBQ my contribution helped fund.
HE got immediatly transferred -I hear to Germany. Every time I got in trouble it involved a reprobate and allways off duty.
Thank You for your Service Maam —and Welcome Home.Like yourself I am happy I got in seven and seven and a wake up before this crap hit the fan.the UCMJ is like any other law— Great when it works. The problem is too often the Reprobate think the law exists just to protect their sin.

If they are catholic they will have to resign from either the military or the church.

I would be shocked if any of the pubs running or potentially running would undo any of it, happy but shocked. They won’t advance the agenda, but I seriously doubt they will roll any of it back. Maybe 20 years ago they would do so, but most of it wasn’t even an issue 20 years ago, it wouldn’t have happened in the first place.

This is probably going to eliminate from the military any Catholic or orthodox Christian chaplain, not to mention some Jews.

There’s no way they can say chaplains “may” perform gay “weddings” without laying themselves open to having to say that it’s mandatory that any chaplain when asked must perform a gay “wedding.” And if the chaplain in question refuses to do it, he will be violating military rules.

I originally thought that the gay marriage people were just misguided and confused, but now I think they’re evil and they are setting things up so that not only can they impose their practices on others, but they can eliminate anybody who objects from public life.

its obscene as well...no decent young men should enlist anymore...

"don't ask don't tell" actually made sense...no one needs to know what your sexual proclivities are...

but NOOOOOOO...that is not what homosexuals want...they don't want to be left alone.....even after years of spewing that in protest....

no...what they want is to be in front of the class, able to bully their way into leadership rows because now they can claim discrimination....

this is the end of America as a military might..

where ever gays take leadership....the govt...the Catholic church....hollywood......they destroy from within....

I know gays have served proudly.....they could continue to serve proudly...

but now that they are "out" everything they do will be protected...

they wear red lipstick in public...they march in gay parades with speedos..they pick their gays or their TARGETS for special treatment....

I feel really bad for the women's services....a straight women won't have a chance there...

we used to go to open dances at the AFB when I was in school....are they now going to have to sponser gay dances?.....OMG....

but you know what is really telling?....that the high military establishment is rushing along supporting this...it tells me that they are charater less, amoral, goose stepping statist who do anything for a promotion...

and these people are supposed to protest the people from tyranny?....don't think so...

Already a problem with not enough Catholic Chaplains. Drove by base chapel shame, I will never set foot into a base chapel again. They will all be desecrated soon.

So, are fags and dykes soon going to be given family housing? Right next door, cheek and jowl to my kids?

Are the “spouses” of gays allowed to shop in the commisary, BX, or use the O/NCO club?

Will “Welcome Home” celebrations now feature prancing closet queens fully decked out with high heels and feather boas? Or big butch Napolitanos in lumber jack shirts and canvas pants?

Rollback will be a tall order.

We never should have let obama in in the first place.

I have no doubt whatsoever that a McCain/Palin administration would not have turned the military into a homosexual indoctrination center.

Yet, back then, there were plenty (too many) who said that there was no difference between the candidates.

Likewise, when the GOP nominates Romney, there will be many who will say that he is no different from obama.

The point being: we cannot take the chance of what further damage obama can do to the country by re-electing him. Romney (whom I do not support, incidentally, and would never do so until a general election) may not undo everything obama has done, but at least he will not cause the same type of damage that obama will cause if re-elected.

Again, in retrospect, I think we see clearly that this is the case.

Choosing McCain back in 2008 over obama was not “the lesser of two evils”.

It was choosing someone who is basically a liberal, but clearly someone who is identifiable with an existing American tradition, as opposed to choosing someone who is (most likely) Marxist, Muslum, and gay himself, and who clearly despises America, capitalism and everything that is good and true to the core.

From FRC's Washington Update:

The federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) is very clear that the federal government defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman. How is DOD skirting the law? In true, White House fashion they're playing word games--calling them same-sex ceremonies in their stated policies but letting the chaplains call these charades "marriages." Words have meaning, and laws have purposes. This administration has shown that it has little regard for either.
