Van Jones, president of the progressive organization Rebuild the Dream, joins The Last Word to discuss what Washington should be doing about jobs. Jones calls the US' deficit problem "phony" and made up. "Hold on to your hats, we're going to have an October offensive to take back the American dream and rescue America's middle class," Jones told MSNBC's "The Last Word." Jones warns of an "American Fall" like there was an Arab Spring. Jones was President Obama's "green jobs czar" until he resigned in fall of 2009. Transcript below: Van Jones: "We are going to build a progressive counterbalance to the tea party. Eighty percent of Americans agree with everything that you say on this show, but we have no voice. We know that jobs are more important, and this phony, made-up deficit stuff they talk about. We know that people who have done well in America should do well by America and start paying America back in the form of more fair taxes.

You mean like their takeover of Wall Street, where less than a hundred people showed up. Or their counter protests in 2010 where a few hundred people showed up. The only reason that their protests in Madison worked is that there was a University close at hand.

As much as I despise Al Quida and the Arab Spring crowd, they were willing to play the head busting game. But the looters in England gave way as soon as anyone showed the slightest resistance. They were just opportunist looters not revolutionaries. Their flash mobs may disrupt things, but they can't hold territory. Even in Madison, where they had the numbers, they weren't able to change anything.

Well, there has been a lot of talk of race war coming, including some pretty vicious hints from Obama. And I’m sure that Eric Holder and Janet Incompetano will be glad to stick up for Van Jones and his flash mobs when they make their appearance. As will the insane media.
