Robin Carnahan will not seek a third term as Missouri Secretary of State, according to Democratic sources.
Carnahan, a member of one of the state's most prominent political families, has been in Jefferson City since 2004.
But after losing a bid for U.S. Senate last year by a wide margin, she did not raise any money for her state campaign, fueling speculation that she would not seek to stay on as Secretary of State.
