Prayers up for Landra Reid.

Landra Reid, the wife of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, has been diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer and is being treated in Washington, DC.
Reid’s office confirmed the diagnosis this morning when I called. Landra Reid is receiving treatment, including chemotherapy. Reid’s folks emphasized that he is by her side but that his work as majority leader will not be compromised.

Well, stage 2 is better than stage 3 or 4. She might be okay.

Perhaps Mrs. Reid would appreciate prayers, while the Senator appreciates thoughts and concern, assuring us his work will not be compromised.
Breast cancer is horrible, and I hate to see anybody afflicted with it. Prayers for her recovery.

As a breast cancer survivor (so far, by the Grace of Almighty God), I hope she is able to stay optimistic and encouraged, and that her general health stays good. She is going onto my prayer list.

Agreed. And that’s to our credit. We can dislike Harry Reid politically but still send our prayers and good wishes to him and his wife.
That’s a nuance which escapes the ability of the liberal mind to comprehend. The liberals look at political opponents at enemies who must be destroyed. We conservatives think of Harry Reid and his ilk as political adversaries, politically idiotic at times, etc. but still recognize that he is a husband and father. He’s a fellow human being who deserves our prayers for his wife, regardless of what we think of him politically.
Just remember God is listening and he will answer..Lots of luck to your wife in he cancer free days ahead..
