Palin 'vengeful,' says author who moved in next door

Joe McGinnis's new book "The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin," hasn't won him any new friends in the Palin camp, and has likely created more than a few enemies among her supporters.

The book takes a hard look at Palin and her husband Todd, digging into her upbringing, what he considers her "deep streak" of racism, alleged drug use, rumours of affairs and general all-around bad parenting.

Joe McGinnis did not like being outed in his plans to spy on the Palin family. His buying the house next to them was discovered by them and she mentioned it tastefully soon after he moved in.

Jesse, if you can put me in touch with people who are willing

Don’t know how anyone could think of Joe McGinness as anything more than a creepy stalker. I would say the same thing if he had moved in next door to Jimmy Carter. It’s not a partisan thing. Any nut job who moves next door to someone for the sole purpose of sifting through their garbage is a creepy stalker and he should have had a restraining order imposed on him. There’s no telling how far this nutjob will take his mental illness.

Alaskans were indeed quite amused, and many tailed him at any opportunity to simply harass him and to generally make him miserable.

I believe I even met him one day at a local bar called Mug Shots not too far from where the Palins live and he was trying to buddy up to me when he heard my company delivered a concrete septic tank to their property.
