The anti-instruction manual — because there are no rules for bad behavior!

Children are natural masters of anarchy, but are too often unaware of the power they wield in their cute little hands, and too seldom encouraged by grown-ups to figure that out. In "A Rule Is To Break: A Child's Guide To Anarchy" that determined little devil girl Wild Child wages her own one-girl rebellion against the stifling world of adults who just want her to behave! And she brings her friends along!

Prepare for the upcoming Toddler Rebellion with Wild Child as your guide!

Bill Ayers recommends this book. Go figure.

The left will start to brainwash the kids as early as they can get them.

Years ago, I considered myself an Anarchist. I did the research, I read the material from the 19th century. I knew what I was saying when I said, "I am an Anarchist".

Today, I do not subscribe to that philosophy, and I will not defend the philosophy.

However ... Anarchism is a real philosophy of politics. It can have a capitalistic flavor, or a socialistic flavor. It is opposed to Marxism. It is about the individual, and the value of the individual rather than slavish loyalty to some faceless "group" or "state".

Today, Anarchism has morphed into something this is pretty directly a synonym for Marxism. The only real difference is that "anarchists" today really like to break stuff. They like destruction. They embrace chaos as a desired end product.

No one in their right mind would support the "anarchism" that people promote today. It is a distilled version of the Culture of Death.

In many places many people have decided that God, as best they can understand, is supreme over any human institution. That God may wish such institutions to be honored, but his explicit demands always overrule. Sometimes these people get along well in society. Sometimes they spark revolutions.

But this is quite different from random troublemaking.

I agree. I see the anarchist today as the just another arm of the progressive movement. They are the goons of the bunch and are used to do the dirty work of the higher ups.

The wise child will learn that rules are neither good nor bad in themselves, they are simply rules, and that one needs to learn them first before deciding which ones to break. Simply disregarding the whole lot in an inchoate rebellion is not the mark of an intelligent human being, adult or child, it's only a tantrum. Simply obeying them all because they are rules is the mark of a fool unworthy of the name of American.

Children are not, actually, anarchists: they need order, they need protection, they need to take their next meal for granted. They are anarchists only within the structure that guards them against their own excesses. So are adult anarchists.

But it isn't anarchy to choose to break a rule or two. It's the mark of a disciplined mind true to its own principles and willing to take the consequences. If we were sheep we wouldn't be here, and God help us if we ever become sheep.

Once upon a time I decided that I was going to pit my will against my dad's will. By Golly I was not going to follow the rules!

Dad informed me that if I wanted to behave as a dependent of the family rather then a member that was fine but I should remember that dependents did not have the same privileges. Like a room or a bed or more then one set of clothes or any thing but the plainest of food. My rebellion collapsed rather quickly.

Kids don't have the power, parents do, if they are willing to use it.

Libs will love this until a conservative child challenges them and their power.

Apply the hardcover edition firmly and repeatedly to the child's seat of learning. (There's a REASON why the gluteus maximus is the biggest muscle in the body. My mom used to call it "the place that Nature provided.) I still have my "Board of Education," and the bidding war between my kids with kids has already started.

“The board of education” LOL. I remember being told it was a long paddle but ended up being my mom’s wooden spoon.

I looked at the link which is Amazon and one of the other books that was on that page was “Go the F**k to Sleep” by
Adam Mansbach.
Well I looked at the first page and I don't
know if this is supposed to be funny but I don't find reading a book to my child at bedtime to be useful if it is filled with profanity-hey that is just me.

Here is his review it is lovely. Be sure to read the whole thing and a little bit about Mr. Ayers I really like the use of the word “alleged”

“... A delight to read! A children’s book on anarchy seems somehow just right: an instinctive, intuitive sense of fairness, community, and interdependence sits naturally enough with a desire for participatory democracy, feminism, queer-rights, environmental balance, self-determination, and peace and global justice.” - Bill Ayers / author (’To Teach: The Journey in Comics’ and ‘Fugitive Days’), teacher, Barack ObamaÂ’s alleged terrorist pal, and grandpa.

Disgusting

Question authority. Question the authority of 60 year old commies to tell youth to riot and subvert the American way of life while enriching billionaire globalists.
