AG Holder responds to critics on Fast and Furious
cbsnews.com ^ | 10/07/2011 | Sharyl Attkisson

In a letter to Congress, Attorney General Eric Holder has gone on the record with the most details yet about what he and other Justice Department officials knew about ATF's Fast and Furious operation, even though memos surfaced earlier this week showing multiple briefing memos mentioning Fast and Furious were sent to him as early as July of last year....

...Holder blamed Congress for failing to consider whether "additional tools are needed to stem the flow of guns to Mexico" and warned "until we move beyond the current political climate..nothing is going to change."

“”In a letter to Congress, Attorney General Eric Holder has gone on the record “”

I’d sure like to see that letter posted. Someone held it up on FOX last night and it was several pages - a VERY thick letter. I guess LOTS of words and pages make it more trustworthy.

I think the gist of the letter is that Holder doesn't read his emails or memos, and that someone else reads them. Therefore he can't be held accountable for anything in the justice department.

The current climate dictates that only racists would believe he is accountable for issues in his email or memos.

If Holder was under oath under penalty of perjury, then he cannot modify his statement later to escape the penalty of perjury. That’s the law, as I have been told.

From the article, Holder doesn't read his memos (He's an innocent Man, he doesn't actually do the job of AG, he just collects the paycheck) :

The Attorney General says that while he was sent received memos on Fast and Furious, they are “actually provided to and reviewed by members of my staff and the staff of the Office of the Deputy Attorney General.”

Issa was asked in an interview on Fox News if Holder was under oath. His reply was, “YES!”

I wonder what Holder’s position was on Iran Contra? According to his ilk, trading weapons for any kind of gain is immoral...unless they do it.

Holder is a @~&%ing criminal.

He needs to be put in jail and must be prosecuted for the deaths of those brave America’s killed by his illegal and private covert operation.

Oliver North had legal issues and all he did was help our allies get money to fight Communists.

This piece of S*** gave arms to Terrorists and then they killed American Officers of the Law!!!

The Obaba/Holder regime can not be effectively investigated with less than those investigation techniques used against organized crime and other such criminal gangs.

But at least Liberals will keep voting for our Terrorist/Criminal-in-Chief.

Arming criminal gangs would put you and me away for long sentences. But we are just citizens and not members of the elite ruling class. There is one law for the serfs but the feudal lords are exempt from the law.

I talked to a career Federal bureaucrat and he said that no lower or mid level Federal worker would dare stick their neck out and initiate something so clearly and blatantly illegal due to fear of personal career destruction/jail time.

A highly illegal scheme like “Fast and Furious” could have only been initiated from the top level, from a VERY high level political person. Even Holder would be unlikely to do something like this without his superior’s instructions.

But the only way a real investigation of political folks could happen is if sophisticated lie detectors are used during all questioning. Otherwise, all the questioner will receive is a lie.
