Why do young women drink themselves to oblivion every night across Britain?

Midnight on St Mary Street in Cardiff and everything is exactly as expected. Half a dozen young women slump in a gutter, men urinate outside a health-food shop and, as hordes stagger between nightclubs, someone lifts up a blow-up doll with a sex toy protruding out of it.

The street smells of urine and lager, police struggle to break up a fight outside the Walkabout bar and a paramedic bundles a comatose girl on to a wheelchair. But it's a quiet night for 20-year-old Naomi Jenkins. She has 'only' drunk three shots of peach schnapps, cider and three shots of Jagermeister (during a drinking game called I Have Never) and still feels 'a bit sober'. Her friend Hannah Freeman, 19, was punched in a fight and stumbles about swearing and searching for a bathroom.

'We only do embarrassing things when we're really drunk,' Naomi says. 'I kiss random men in the street and Hannah has had sex behind a chicken coop.' She screams with laughter as Hannah lurches unsteadily in the stairwell of Charleston Bar and Grill on Caroline Street (known locally as Chip Alley) and unashamedly urinates in front of us.

This is really dangerous for UK citizens, you can’t sort your trash correctly when you’re blind drunk, and that’s a serious crime they’ll jail ya for over there.

Twenty-Five years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Steve Jobs, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope. Now we have Obama, no Jobs, no Cash, and no Hope.

It is happening in Japan, too, particularly in Tokyo, in such nightlife/drinking districts as Shibuya and Kabukicho (Shinjuku). So it is worldwide in intensity. 20-25 years ago, unfathomable (at least for unescorted girls). How about other countries? Our youth are being lost. There seems to be a dark pall globally growing over the young people of the world in so many cases, though many great and upstanding ones remain. I think "happiness" is held out as an empty prommise by "The Evil One" in many of these cases, and people just fall like dupes to the oldest lies in the world. Certainly there is no happiness in this. Poor soul lying there on the sidewalk.

One explanation might be they are on downers for not being able to snag William before Kate did.

My bet is the Misery Index and lack of Christianity in GB has much to do with this.

Actually it's the Total Depravity of Man (and Women are included in that). The Depravity of Man is increasing world wide. I've seen women like this on shows like COPS and CAMPUS PD, drunk and vulnerable to rape and VDs (and worse).

Our societies should be screaming for women not to put themselves in positions like these, but instead are promoting it (and licentiousness) and homosexuality to the destruction of Holy Matrimony and the Nuclear family (one man married to one woman under God).

It's going to get really bad unless repentance is granted. The freedoms we have known and take for granted can quickly vanish. And the free societies we have known be changed into Totalitarian ones sooner than we think.

God can grant that to restrain lawlessness and has done so in the past. If He doesn't, perhaps the time of Jacob's Trouble is afoot and unless He restrains that "Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved" says the Lord Jesus Christ himself in Matthew 24:22 (repeated in Mark 13:20).

So the choice is stark.

I started to watch Prohibition and wondered why it was the men who got s-faced and the women led the effort to ban alcohol. Maybe we should figure out why men think it is manly to pass out. Maybe it is just an attention getter when they have accomplished nothing else.
