The EIB Network ^ | 10/11/2011 | Rush Limbaugh

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Would it matter, though, since electors wouldn’t be casting ballots for both of them, just for the Presidential nominee? If I recall correctly, the VP used to end up being the person with the second-most number of electoral votes. I wonder if that rule is a leftover from that situation.

I love Rush but when it comes to presidential politics, he is exasperating as hell.

Rush is rihgt — move on — get over it— maybe those in the early primary states should pcik someone who is actually running and support them.

Sarah ain’t running, the msm will never like any pub running,

sounds like the back benchers are out again

To: who knows what evil?

Could it be that the Romney campaign has seen some polls that don’t look too good, and they are tending a tad bit toward panic?

I can understand somebody trying to “close the deal”, but any salesman puts a bum’s rush like this on me had best not get between me and the door......

All this stuff does is push Mit another notch (or three) down on my list.

I sent him a Bennie and will again if he sicks this debate. Then more if he progresses. He’s done a pretty damm good job getting himself in the MSM with such low funds. Maybe ad money isn’t as important if he keeps getting this much media attention?

If Cain and Gingrich are both currently registered to vote in Georgia, then yes, I would see it as the same scenario as Bush and Cheney both being registered in Texas. Gingrich has a home in Virginia though, so he could register there.

Just a little lesson from Sarah - the person with the biggest coffers isn’t always the best person, and doesn’t always win, if he/she has the right message. Cain’s success, imho, is proving this true.

What would it do if Sarah were to come out and endorse Cain today? Good, bad?

I was thinking of donating to Cain tomorrow if he does well tonight. Seeing the recurring as an option makes me think that might be even better.
