I'll Endorse When I Decide, Folks

IF RUSH ENDORSES ANYONE AT THIS JUNCTURE, HE WOULD SPEND OVER HALF HIS AIR-TIME FOR THE NEXT 13 MONTHS DEFENDING HIS ENDORSEMENT TO OPPONENTS' SUPPORTERS, SEMINAR CALLERS, AND JUST, PLAIN, KOOKS.

THINK IT THROUGH!

He needs to stay free to discuss current events and such, not start an "all-Rush" daily campaign speech...which is what it will turn into when he DOES announce a preferred candidate. I personally would not listen if it turned into a "my-candidate-can-whip-your-candidate" free-for-all everyday.

You KNOW the Ron Paul people would seminar-call their asses off...his crowd is small, but loud.

Rush knows this and doesn't want to stifle his daily show by turning it into a three-hour campaign commercial.

Besides, he's right...we should be able to pick our own candidate without Rush leading us through it.

I listen to Rush as much as possible, probably about 1 1/2 hours a day. Every day, at least twice, I ask myself: “Why didn't I think of that?” The Rats and RINOs constantly think up new ways to fool us, and Rush does a good job of detecting the techniques, and passes it on.

Haven’t read it all yet, but I didn’t think Rush ever publicly endorsed a candidate during primaries.

You're right, he didn't. But that won't stop people from making things up about him anyway. It's weird.

As if FR has ever had the right choice among its family members.

Because I feel we need a leader to "take us from the wilderness to the promised land", I fall on the story of Moses (without ascribing the same association with our Creator that Moses was privileged to have) I think that Newt is the answer. I would like it to be Newt with his wisdom and experience with Santorum or Cain as running mates.

We can find ugly memories in all of these, some have not surfaced yet ... but gimme a break ... ROMNEY?????? ...

Perry seems a nice guy, but I have a heart and I don't feel it is fair for the State to offer tuition to the poor "kids who did not ask to be born here or came illegally as a very small child" -- there are kids from here who can't go because of money and I have a family full of them. Perry also puts every answer off until tomorrow ... very off-putting to use a pun.

Bachmann is a true Conservative, but not a statesperson at all and abrasive. Her writers should have warned her that that cutesy remark about 9-9-9 --- 6-6-6 and the devil in the details, would come back to bite her.

I feel a sense of betrayal here to real conservatism when one "sin" or another from the past or even more Blinds us and makes us shun what we need!!!!!

Why worry about what the media will say -- they (the liberal elitists and Republican elitists and liberal media) -- will ALL say the worst about whomever we want.

Newt says everything with an eloquence and real gravitas (I know, overused and abused description) which OBAMA never had!

He knows what he is talking about!!! This is what we need!

Just as the Lord chose the very imperfect Moses ... we too need to choose with wisdom and not base decision on what we might consider to have been singularly offensive past performance to some of us and count that person out.

I will say again NEWT with a hope that he would choose Cain or Santorum as VEEP!

I’m still thinking about Rush’s response to a caller that asked him why he hadn’t mentioned Palin’s withdrawal.

Rush said it hadn’t crossed his mind. Who believes that?

Later in the conversation he sort of quoted palin, who criticized her complainers by saying if they trusted her to be president, why can’t her on this decision to withdraw.

This sort-of quote by Rush shows he has been tuned into Sarah.

I think Rush’s heart is broken.

Rush did NOT like Huckabee the huckster. I remember him criticizing him prior to Iowa.

This is becoming a slo-mo redo of 2008 ... the right gets divided and so we nominate a non-conservative, even though 2/3rds of the grassroots is conservative.
