Amid Protesters, Zuccotti Park Will Get Cleaned
NBC NEW YORK ^ | Oct 12, 2011 | NBC NEW YORK

The Occupy Wall Street protesters who have taken up residence at Zuccotti Park for the past three weeks may temporarily have to find new digs Friday when crews plan to enter and clean the park.

The owner of the park, Brookfield Properties, will be dispatching cleaning crews there, said Deputy Mayor for Operations Cas Holloway.

Holloway said Brookfield wrote a letter to the city expressing concerns over the upkeep of the park and maintaining it in a "condition fit for public use."

"The last three weeks have created unsanitary conditions and considerable wear and tear on the park," said Holloway. "The situation is not in the best interest of the protesters, residents or the City."

The cleaning will be done in stages, and the protesters will be able to return to the areas that have been cleaned, provided they abide by the rules that Brookfield has established for the park, said Holloway.

Hey OWS Occupiers. Why don’t you all head to California? They are well on the way to achieving the anti-capitalist, open-borders utopia you crave. You go there, achieve your dream, and all like-minded protesters who are so miserable under capitalism can follow. Then, you can demonstrate how superior your ideas are, and we will all convert. (I’m lying about that last part, but you are too naive to see thru my little ruse.)

The people are occupying PRIVATE property? I can not believe the owners are allowing this. I would think the neighbors would demand the owners put a stop to this and barring that that the city would demand the owners stop this.

Tea Partiers and other right-wing demonstrators usually do not camp out on a site for weeks

Probably because too many of us have to go to work.

Three Things To Remember:

1. The Owners of Zuccotti Park (Brookfield Properties) recently received a $168 million loan gurantee from the Obama administration to build a wind farm

2. The Law firm of Oldaker, Biden & Belair, founded by Joe Biden’s son, are the lobbyists for Brookfield Properties, the owners of Zuccotti Park.

3. NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg's long time lady friend, Diana L. Taylor, is on the board of directors for Brookfield Properties. Bloomberg recently told the "Occupy Wall Street" mob that the city has no problem with them using the park and city streets to continue their demonstration.

Order up some heavy duty pumps, some fire hoses, a tanker truck filled with Clorox and hose them down.

Yep!

And, perhaps more importantly, we’re not getting paid by Soros, the unions, etc. to demonstrate!

They'd better be wearing these:
