Twisted freaks are all over the place in the GOP now. What they stand for is twisted and freakish. I could use stronger words but supporting gay marriage and got run health care is twisted and freakish.

What I took from Rush’s rant is that he wants to install CONSERVATIVES in office and sweep the RINOS out like the fervor in 2012.

Yep, but the poster in question was obviously not using it in that context.

The Republican establishment is no longer terrified of the Tea Party

hee hee hee

Now that would be a very foolish attitude to adopt.

Oh yes, you’re definitely obsessed with Perry. You’re also obsessed with yourself, at least your posts have a way of leaving that impression.

The Republican establishment is no longer terrified of the Tea Party, The New York Times' Matt Bai reports.

Oh, BRAVO! Well said. REALLY well said -- especially noting that so many Americans who relate to Tea Party ideals ostentatiously decline the label "Republican." The GOP Establishment's so-called "pros" are inept. If they were any good at what they do -- aren't they tasked with making the Republican party grow and thrive? -- they'd have started to adjust the party to meet the shouting, yelling, begging demand. Instead, they glitch and spit at the idea of changing (compromising) how it's "always been done." The current party leaders are maroons of the first order -- either that, or stubbornly prideful and avaricious.

Really well said except for one thing: "Let the Rinos compromise their values ... for a change." I think that in a lot of ways, their value consists of winning the title, holding the spot on the gameboard. It's their only or their prime value, and is inherently immune to the concept of "compromising" with such as Tea Partiers. Much more lucrative to compromise with elected Democrats.

[Political vampire Romney would suck the blood out of the Republican party and leave a pale corpse. ]

If he is shoved down our troats, he can rally no more than a third of the base. So yes, he would kill the party. He might not even win the genera;. Then he would veto Obamacare repeal, no matter how he lie now. The nation is likely doomed finacially, we would then be doomed squared.

The Tea Party is not just doing well, it will elect one of them as the next President.

The winning strategy is to take over the Republican Party delegation at the state level. No fanfare is needed, simple quiet diligence. Stealth Mode. Then see to it that NO phonies get in office. The President "could" be selected at the National Convention. It has happened before. It is time to end the Kabuki Dance.

Twisted freaks are all over the place in the GOP now. What they stand for is twisted and freakish. I could use stronger words but supporting gay marriage and govt run health care is twisted and freakish.

It frightens me and distresses me to say this, but .... amen. Amen. :^(

It is WHY we must fight united FOR limited government. Limited government allows people to live in peace in a civilized way. Government INTRUSION, for example, forces us to pay for sloth, abortion, laziness, bad behavior. Government that seeks to dictate morality, no matter whose morality, creates an immoral society.

Government makes it so that each and every one of us, if we dare to express displeasure at open homosexuality in our professional, civic, business, religious, and public lives, we will likely be punished BY THE GOVERNMENT. Government already subsidizes sloth, immorality, laziness, moral failings. If people want to be gay, that's their business. If they want to flaunt it in front of my grandkids or to my customers if I hire the gay person in question, it's MY business if I sniff "No thanks -- take it somewhere else NOW."

There are twisted, freakish Republicans who believe the government should deprive people of their God-given right to reject open homosexuality in their societies, and there are twisted, freakish Repubicans who believe that the government is necessary for individuals to deal with employers, doctors, health care, and health insurance, that lack of the heavy hand of government there is simply not an option. Those people are twisted freaks, no matter what else they may be. They'll always be around -- but a LIMITED GOVERNMENT NATION CAN DISARM THEM.

That is the principle and truth that unites us. We need to RECOGNIZE it.

And here I was thinking that Romney and Perry would split the progressive vote and elect Cain. At least I hope that happens.

That's exactly what "Establishment Republicans" have been doing for years, hence the term RINO, Republican In Name Only.

But the phrase "Let the RINOs compromise their values ... for a change." is simply shoving their own words back into their face.
We all know that the "Establishment Republicans" think they're twice as smart as the conservatives.
But let them be divorced from the base. Look at what Ronald Reagan did.
The conservatives don't need the "Establishment" and should spite them every chance we get.
Make the "Establishment" come begging to the conservative base. Take their power away from them. Wash them out.
We don't need them. They need us. They lose every time they lead.

Well, you see, the progressives stick together like the herd they are. Conservatives think independently and we never agree on anything. That is why we are never united unless there is a disaster.

No they don’t. These threads scare them silly. These threads show them that business as usual is over. That there are Patriots who put this nation and people first. Scares the pants off of the Republicrats, too.
