Scott Brown: Traitors can’t be citizens
Boston Herald ^ | 10/13/11 | Hillary Chabot

U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is co-sponsoring a bill that would strip terrorists of their American citizenship if they are found guilty of conspiring against America after two accused homegrown terrorists were arrested in the Bay State.

Rezwan Ferdaus of Ashland was arrested last month and charged in a complex plot to attack Washington, D.C., and Tarek Mehanna of Sudbury is set to go on trial this fall on charges he provided “material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization,” and acted as a “media wing” for al-Qaeda.

So then it would be okay for 0 to decide who is and who isn’t a terrorist?

Does this get 0 off the hook for okaying killing American citizens who are American citizens at the time of their death?

This is one of those things that sounds great at first but then after giving it some thought, should give you pause.

Should have been done a long time ago.

Awlaki should have been stripped by the Courts (not the President who would be King), then bombed into oblivion as a foreign terrorist.

This Star Chamber stuff has no place in the United States.

Think about it, you have to convict them, they spend time in jail and when you want to deport them in 20 years - where do they go.

Get rid of birthright citizenship for illegals in the same bill.

How many senators and congressman would be disqualified under this legislation? I can think of at least one from Arizona who thinks he is the congressman from Mexico.

I understand the reasoning, but I think this law is very dangerous.
